The food was delicious!!! I got the jerk pork and it was mouth watering plus the whole dish was only $23 with a can of soda which is not bad as I had left overs still. Definitely recommend and will be going again!

I ordered oxtails and cabbage. It was $31 which was ridiculous and it was a small and then asked her was the rice included. She said yes, but since I didn’t tell her in the beginning of my order, they did not give me rice so I got a small oxtail with cabbage only and it was $31 over expensive. I haven’t taste it yet, but I’m already pissed about the price. This is crazy. I could’ve bought a whole case off the street five finger discount for $50 for case of oxtails won’t get my business anymore so I’m leaving a nice review for others to know you better be loaded pockets when you go to this place and then we’re not friendly at all. She wouldn’t even give me a side order a rice on the side I’m like OK if I’m paying for the rice right ma’am she said yes I said OK. Well, just give me the rice on the side since I’m paying for it and they wouldn’t do it so I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t suggest you go there. I

DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY MUST BE HAVING BOTS WRITE GOOD REVIEWS! I just had the most disappointing and disgusting meal here. Don’t be fooled by the friendly lady at the counter or the Jamaican accents – this is NOT authentic Jamaican food. The meat was dry, burnt, and drowning in sauce to hide the lack of flavor. The rice was bland, clumpy, and had such a weird, off taste that even my mom spit it out. The cabbage was soggy, and worst of all, the plantains were completely black and burnt – absolutely inedible.
To make matters worse, there’s a big sign that says “No Refunds.” That should have been the first warning – they clearly know the food is bad and don’t want to be held accountable. I even brought some to my stepfather, who is still in the hospital and had just been allowed off NPO (no food by mouth). He said the rice and meat tasted strange and the chicken wasn’t fresh. Honestly, I’m scared this food could make him sick. That says everything.
This is not a good representation of Jamaican cuisine. Real Jamaican food is flavorful and fresh, not burnt, sloppy, and questionable in quality. Save yourself the money and the disappointment – go somewhere else.

My first time trying and I am
Blown away! The oxtail is actually meaty and if you eat Carribian food you know some of these places just give you fat! If you’re in the area don’t skip out on PT the flavor will absolutely bring you back.
I got the rice and peas w/ oxtail 10/10

Just moved in the area, and was looking for a spot to enjoy my birthday lunch! I found it with PT Just Jerk chicken! The place was clean … the staff was welcoming . Mrs . Patricia and the staff sang me Happy Birthday and welcomed me with open arms and great food to fill my belly! The flavors were well balanced. I will definitely be going back for more really soon. They have excellent portion sizes. If you don’t have Prior knowledge of a dish they are more than welcome to let you try a taste which made the experience that more enjoyable!- mrs.B

I was recommended to come check this place out and I have to say upon walking in the workers were very helpful and they greeted myself and my son and I told them it was my first time visiting and they kindly helped us to make sure we were aware of what was on the menu and very patient with us as well. We ordered our food and took it home to eat family style so we can try everything together and the food did not disappoint. The Rasta pasta with the shrimp was excellent and flavorful. The jerk chicken and rice with peas and plantains was delicious and I loved it at the first bite. We will definitely make sure to visit this restaurant again and I will make sure to recommend this restaurant to others.

You do get a lot of food but unfortunately when you dig in you will dig into disappointment as this food is terrible. I wanted to try something outside of my usual spot and tried this place because of the 4.5. The chicken taste is completely off and weird, honestly they might need a health inspection because something is off about their food.

Walked in last week and met the the owner, who was so inviting and welcoming. I had the curry goat, which was moist and tender. Cooked perfectly. She also offered me a sample of their jerk pork, but she promised me I would be back for another meal. So, today here I am BACK for the jerk pork. Please stop in and see why I’m back. The food and service is excellent.

The food, the vibe, and the staff remind me of childhood and my family. The curry chicken was flavorful, the rice was perfect texture and the cabbage and plantain was soft and good! The beef patty was fresh, and I also loved the juice. My husband and I are definitely coming back!

I wish I could give a higher rating. This place is superb man! Authentic home style Jamaican cuisine ! What great customer service and the best jerk pit I’ve seen on the East Coast.

Update: Feb 12, 2023
This review needs an update guys! I recently stopped in for brunch and spent some time doing some on-the-go work (sending emails etc) and the service was a full scale, top notched dining experience with plated service and real silverware – AT THE SAME PRICE as takeout.

While there, there were 2 instances where the owner used the statement “we don’t do that …here” – One as a customer was saying he’s ok with leaving the store without a bag for his food. Another time a customer wanted to eat in and proceeded to dine in from her takeout box. The owner came over and plated the customer’s much and set down her silverware on the table.

This was amazing to see and great experience- especially in our Caribbean community. This owner is doing an amazing job at company culture!!!
