Our experience was truly exceptional from the very first moment. (2 Adults 3 Kids)

The welcome was friendly and warm, especially toward the children. From the start, we felt comfortable , as if we were walking into a place that was genuinely happy to have us there. The atmosphere is ideal for families; children feel welcomed and parents can actually relax and enjoy their time.

The food was wonderful. I personally ordered the mushroom and cheese omelette, and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and thoughtfully prepared down to the smallest detail. And what impressed us even more? Six dishes arrived at our table unexpectedly fast, without compromising quality in the slightest.

The service was impressively quick, professional, and genuinely kind. The servers were polite, smiling, and attentive throughout.

A special mention goes to Sinead, our waitress. She was exceptionally polite, outstanding at her job, attentive, efficient, and naturally gracious. Her professionalism and warm demeanor truly elevated our overall experience.

The location is simply beautiful, right by the water, offering a sense of calm and natural charm. After your meal, if the weather allows, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing walk, ending your outing on the best possible note.

I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Perfect for families – and not only.

Great place with great vibes. The service was great and the location easy to get to. We went for happy hour and got some great things for a very reasonable price. My favorite was the seafood platter with a great array of very tasty seafood. If I had to change one thing is it have more variety of cocktails on the happy hour menu. 60% of them were gin and vodka which I don’t really like. A tequila or rum cocktail would do well. Wil definitely be back!

Food was absolutely delicious and it came in a timely manner.
Our waitress was great and was able to handle the party of 12 that we had there.
However, we did note that one of the staff members (not the waitress) who was bringing the food was a bit rude and would push away the additional place on our table and would very roughly place our plates on the table.
Overall, it’s a great restaurant on the recommend their delicious food and their caramel crème.

Had a nice sunny dine-out lunch here, favourite was Duck Confit, Fondant dessert not so much (more like a pudding than a fondant), but overall it was a very good deal!

I recently organized a full buyout at Provence Marinaside for a special occasion, and I truly feel that everyone at the restaurant went above and beyond.

We reserved the entire restaurant and planned the menu about a month in advance. In the last 48 hours before the event, I had to ask them to change the floor plan three times because our number of guests kept changing — yet when I arrived an hour before the event, the dining room looked absolutely spectacular.

As it was a weekday, we were following a specific timeline, and the team managed to keep nearly 90 guests perfectly on schedule from the canapés to the four-course menu. Every course was beautifully presented, delicious, and portioned just right — which is rare for a multi-course dinner of that size.

The service was impeccable. The staff’s attention to detail, customer care, and willingness to assist with anything I needed made the entire evening seamless. I genuinely felt I could rely on them at every moment.

I couldn’t have asked for anything to go better. I would absolutely return for any important event and highly recommend Provence Marinaside for exceptional food, service, and hospitality.

Taking a stroll from David Lam Park to Cooper’s Park led to an unexpected culinary delight—Provence Marinaside.

So far, this place serves the best ravioli and baguette I’ve had in BC. The baguette was perfectly done—crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. It was so good, we couldn’t resist ordering a second one. As for the ravioli? Simply the best in town. The balance between the sauce and the filling was spot on—rich, flavorful, and satisfying.

Not everything hit the same high mark though. The meatballs had a lovely tomato sauce and were well-prepared, but $16 for two medium-sized pieces feels a bit steep. Worth trying, but not the best value.

The only real disappointment was the steak. We ordered it medium, but it came out clearly overcooked. While we didn’t send it back (we don’t like wasting food), even at medium-well, it just met the standard—not exceptional. The sauce, however, was excellent.

Service was attentive but not intrusive—staff showed up at just the right times and treated us well throughout the meal.

Despite the letdown with the steak, the overall experience and quality of the other dishes were so good that I’m still giving Provence Marinaside a solid 5-star rating. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

It is a huge restaurant offering both patio heated and indoor seating. Located right by the water, it offers a very relaxing ambiance. Decent quality except the scallops I had is a bit sandy. The pasta is on the salty side especially the salmon. They offer a dessert for the birthday person which is very generous these days. Attentive service. Overall an enjoyable experience.

This is going to be my favorite go to French Seafood restaurant with amazing views of Marinaside. Great food & service from concierge Lorenzo to Melody our waitress and even the gal who kept filling our water without asking. We started with nicely fried calamari which came with some light salad. Delicious & tender. We ordered the whole Dover sole lemon buttered fish to share and added seasonal veggies. Deliciously seasoned. It also came with potatoes. Note: it cost $5-$8 if you want them to cut fish for you inside. But it’s a much enjoyable experience to see the whole fish and it was easy to share as it was pre sliced on the side to lift up the fish to pull out the moist fish. Perfectly cooked as I’m a fish lover. Bonus was free surprise desert for my hubby on his bday and I tried first time French cake which was sponge cake with mixed berries inside & nice baked exterior served warm with side of vanilla ice cream. We were so thankful to be accommodated great new outdoor patio seating right on the street with amazing Marinaside view. My hubby and I are autoimmune compromised so it was nice we could reserved patio seating which most restaurants don’t do. Value of food, service, and ambiance totally worth it. I posted clips of video indoor & outdoor and menu to view. Enjoy.

Patio brunch location is the strongest offer here. Crab cake Benedict was pretty mid, dry and average. Potatoes were great! Service felt disjointed and over-staffed, while also being sluggish. High end atmosphere just doesn’t match. Not terrible though, would reserve a patio spot on a nice day if you’re willing to spend.
