This place was cheap, and was on the bay which was perfect. The food was pretty good and was cooked to a perfection and they have a super cool wall with all these famous people that have been there. Only reason you get 4/5 they didn’t give a drink to my 12 year old brother untill he asked for it. She ignored it.

Walking into Proud Mary’s Restaurant in Dana Point felt really relaxing and exciting at the same time when I visited with someone. The place has a lively atmosphere that teenagers would enjoy a lot, and I saw so many teenagers there that day. They were taking pictures by the water, laughing together, and fitting into the environment so naturally that it made the whole restaurant feel even more vibrant. The marina view looked almost like a postcard, and teenagers especially seemed to love taking photos with the boats in the background, which made the place feel even more fun and creative.
It was my first time visiting Proud Mary’s, and I did not realize how much there was to enjoy until I walked around and took in the whole scene. I really appreciated how easy it was to have a good time there without feeling rushed. The staff kept everything moving smoothly, and the upbeat energy made the experience feel even better than I expected. I never doubted that the visit would turn out the way I hoped it would, and it honestly ended up being one of the most refreshing places I have been to in a long time.
I have only visited Proud Mary’s one time in my life before making this review, but it left a strong impression on me. The combination of the waterfront view, the friendly atmosphere, and the playful energy from all the teenagers around made it feel like a place that understands how to make people feel comfortable and inspired. I would highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a space to relax, take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and feel creative.

It was a romantic breakfast out on the patio with my husband while on vacation. Living here in Albuquerque we have several pubs that we frequent and enjoy. Not knowing where any are out in California we looked up proud Mary’s over in Dana point and was absolutely impressed with both the food, ambience and servers. It felt like home. It felt comfortable and felt like everyone was enjoying themselves and we were surrounded by good people just having a good time! We sat facing outward overlooking the harbor and had an excellent view to enjoy both our drinks and food absolutely worth it and we’ll go back every chance we can!

Wow the food here was just absolutely the best chaselyn was a great server with fantastic customer service she helped us pick what we want and it was perfect the food I can not say enough was just so amazing and you could tell it was all fresh and not to take the spotlight away from the view but you get an amazing view while you eat highly recommended please try this spot out

Went for a lovely stroll along the harbor and ended up at Proud Mary’s for breakfast. We were greeted by the owner who was doing his dog barking impersonating and he was quite good. Sounded like a small retriever. We were seated at a nice table for two. Valerie was our amazing server and was attentive and kind. The other helpers were all efficient and friendly as well. My wife had the vegetable omelet and I had the chili omelet. Both dishes were great. The coffee and OJ was good as well. This place is popular with an upbeat ambiance and terrific location.
Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Proud Mary’s this morning. My wife and I both had omelets and they were hot and tasty. Sara was our server extraordinare and was friendly, kind and professional. The ambiance and view was quite nice and the bloody Mary’s were fantastic.
Great breakfast spot and truly enjoyed our dining experience.

The Rueben Sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. I was honestly quite shocked with the flavor of the sandwich and it was the perfect temperature of heat in each bite. Toast had a great crunch. Fries were nice and hot and crispy to perfect. The added pickle was awesome. Again, I was thoroughly impressed and shocked how wonderful the food was. Wife had the Ortega chicken sandwich – absolutely great flavor and each bite was amazing. This is a place I would definitely drive another 35 minutes for just the sandwich. Service was great and our waitress was very sweet and kind! She was the one who surprised picked the Rueben for me between the tuna melt. Great choice – solid experience! Thank you and highly recommended!!

I’ve made the mistake twice – eating outside at Turks. Decided to try Proud Mary’s and loved it! Sat outside, terrific service, and the chicken Cesar salad and chili combo was yummy. My new favorite spot in Dana Point Harbor.

Really nice restaurant fast service lots of seating. I love their close patio with great views of the harbor and glass that closes out completely with space heaters which keep you nice and toasty on the cold mornings.

I had the most enjoyable time on my vacation in California at proud Mary’s Steve was a super nice dude very funny and made sure we had a good time the food was amazing the view might’ve been even better this place was wonderful I highly recommend if you’re out here
