Me and my fiancé absolutely love this place! We come about once a week or at least every other week! We live in the neighborhood so it’s super convenient, & it’s dog friendly!
Everything is extremely fresh, and tastes amazing. There’s a wide variety on the menu, and the way everything tastes, you would never know you’re eating/drinking something healthy.
I really appreciate that the owners break everything down on the menu- so If you’re tracking your macros you can keep in check of your diet!
They do really fun special flavors for the holidays also!
The owners are also very kind & personable and always friendly! If you are looking for a great, healthy, family run local business- this is the place to try.

I tried the El Cubanito protein waffle after a 7 mile hike on the upper Tampa Bay Trail. Needless to say, I was very hungry. The waffle was the perfect size and tasted really good. There is no added sugar so you don’t have to feel guilty about eating it. There are other items on the menu I’ll definitely go back and try. As you can see from the photos, the aesthetic is very cute and welcoming. I love that there are table games, I wish more places offered this extra value. My friend and I love to play a game if we plan to hang somewhere for a bit after eating. The service was great too.

The food is hands-down some of the best protein related food I’ve ever had. The service was incredible and their menu Has a great variety. Usually when I think of waffles I don’t think of protein, Usually what I think of Is sweet. I personally ordered the Elvis and it was one of the greatest plate of waffles I’ve ever had. Everyone should come try this it’s absolutely incredible, and it deserves a lot of attention.

You want to support local business but they are just impossible to work with. They chase asthetic over customer experience. Order smoothie simple smoothie at 10 46 in morning by after 25 min I walked out cause it’s just too much. For simple smoothie you have to wait for 25 min. Just unacceptable in this economy. Not to mention $15 for smoothie is just too much. This is in store experience. Over week ago I place uber order cause they were doing buy 1 get one 1 waffle free. Guess what I got only one waffle. Horrible

A well thought out concept. The options and shakes available are plenty. We only did the shakes and got our daily dose of protein. All protein is plant based and they have a lot of options for everybody. They have protein waffles and more food will try those the next time we are in the area.

We’ve gotten to know the owners Luis and Emily over the years very sweet couple passionate about the work they do. Protein Monkey is a staple to Westchase and West Park Village couldn’t recommend this place more. They’re very knowledgeable. They know the nutrition facts and always happy to make you feel comfortable love you guys!

Super cute place with games to play. Good quality waffles for macros expected. Smoothies are also good! Tried the cubanito, romeo&juliet and the banana caramel shake and enjoyed all 3 items. Pricer than regular shakes/waffles but most healthier places are so it was reasonable.

Stopped by after having dental work around the corner. Place is incredibly welcoming and the owner took very good care of me – the pride he has for his shop and customers is evident. I tried the strawberry cheesecake protein shake and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

The inside is really pretty and clean looking. Very boho sheek! The service is great and the owner was very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu.
I came hoping to get donuts but they no longer make them. They’ve replaced them with muffins. I opted for a waffle and cookies.
The cookies were good and sweet, and they didn’t have a chalky protein taste. I’d get them again!
I had the Elvis waffle, no bacon bits. Add pecan and Nutella. It was delicious!! Made to order, and thick and fluffy!! The flavors were great too. I’ll definitely be back
