Found Prospect frustratingly inconsistent. The drinks were excellent. (I tried the hibiscus margarita and the lovely peachin’ to the choir.) The melon starter was good, but the burger took an unfathomable amount of time to arrive and was clearly overdone for a medium-rare order. (The fries were yummy.) Frustrating.

Had a business dinner at Prospect recently. The food was great! We had a mix of several appetizers, all were very good. The octopus (I know not everyone’s favorite) was delicious, as was the humus. Even a simple gem salad felt elevated and delicious. Main courses arrived and everyone’s meal looked spectacular. I had the steak and it was prepared perfectly including the potatoes and spinach. Service was also top notch, being attentive while not being overbearing. Highly recommend for dinner or nice social meal.

OMG–Prospect still SLAPS with the same DELICIOUS and AMAZING flavors as ever! I’m here for the popular Prospect burger and fries this time. Amazing! Service is top-notch and keeps getting better. If Jerry, your server, buckle up–you’re in for a next-level dining experience!

Plates come out looking like works of art–bright, colorful, and full of love. And the taste? Even better than the presentation. Every bite is a wow-moment.

The wine list is selective, special, and impossible to mess up. Pick anything, and you’ll be golden.

The vibe is romantic, classy, yet super fun–exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger all night. I seriously LOVE everything about this place.

Parking, though… that’s the only adventure. Between the rideshare chaos and tight spaces, finding a spot–especially with a big car–is tricky. Pro tip: get here early before dinner hours, and with some patience, you’ll find one. And trust me–it’s 100% worth it once you’re inside.

First, I want to call out Will, the sommelier , who gave very nice descriptions of wine and offered excellent recommendations. He gets a five star. Otherwise, though I would give the experience a two star. The cocktails took forever to come out when we first sat down. So did both the appetizers and the main courses. There is nothing particularly special about the appetizers, and my Main was quite salty and had some weird cheese on top was not that great. The best item was the olive oil cake which I would give a five star. The food delivery staff was very warm and pleasant. Our actual server didn’t seem to strike the right notes. Probably will not return. However, we did have a nice evening with friends and thus we still enjoyed the evening.

We had dinner with my partner at Prospect. It was beautiful. I think it’s one of the best places from the city. We tried the capeletti, the scallops, the tartare and the meatballs. We had the affogato for dessert. Everything was magnificent!

It was nice. Service was very slow and distracted. The burrata salad was weird with the chili sauce so we sent it back and had it with oil and vinegar which may be predictable but also so delicious. The heirloom tomato and nectarine were amazing! The fired chicken was OK. Not sure what the fuss was all about. The mashed potatoes were a bucket of butter with potatoes. The halibut was perfectly paired with the sweet peas and beautifully presented. Overall the price point didn’t match the experience.

Prospect offers a fine dining experience.
5 stars for ambiance
5 stars for food
5 stars for service

I went to Prospect to celebrate a birthday at Prospect.
What a great choice!
The interior is lovely wood with modern clean lines. It felt spacious. In the main room there is a wall with velvet, a nice soothing pale green with floral patterns on it.

When my party arrived, we were quickly seated in a booth.
Spacious seating for our small group.

The wait staff appeared promptly in case we wanted to order cocktails.
There is a fine wine menu but I opted to get a non-alcoholic drink: the Prospect Cooler, a mix of juice and syrups.
Very light but refreshing.

The food menu has a good variety in case you feel like a light bite, want to share plates or want a full meal. There are vegetarian bites as well as one veggie focus d entree. I liked the variety of choices for the main because if I wanted vegetable risotto or a steak they were both options.

My scallop starter with small curls of calamari in a seafood and butter sauce was Delicious!

For the group, we ordered the Hokkaido Milk bread with furoshike butter…like Hawaiian bread (a brioche) but a smooth milk taste.

We all chose the Heritage Pork Chop (a winner) which had fried okra, slices of grilled apricot, potato cake and pickled greens. The pork was tender and juicy.

A combination that evoked a savvy chef’s Southern dish.
For dessert, we had the light pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream. Great finish. The kitchen even placed a birthday candle on the plate.

Overall, I was impressed with Prospect restaurant; a surprise treat which I plan to return to again and again!

Food was all really well cooked and the vibes of the restaurant were really nice. The wait staff was super friendly. Really enjoyed the fries and dip but everything tasted delicious, fresh, and interesting.

Stopped by for happy hour at 4pm. The drinks and apps we got were very tasty. By the time we left at 515 the place was busy!

It’s a nice place that seems to be trying to come across as sophisticated and innovative. However, some of their culinary choices didn’t quite work for me—for example, hazelnuts in a pork chop dish just felt a bit out of place. The tartare was pretty spicy, and the portion was very small, definitely not enough to share. I also wish they offered a kids’ menu, as that would make the restaurant more family-friendly.
The atmosphere itself is pleasant, and the presentation of the dishes is attractive, but overall the food didn’t fully live up to the expectations set by the concept. With a few adjustments, this place could be much more enjoyable.
