This was such a an awesome experience! This is a family owned shop, husband and wife were both in house when I arrived. I had a chance to talk to the husband and he was super nice and professional, welcoming and patient for guests ordering. He was happy to share some laughs and conversation while I waited for my order. He speaks so highly of the young man who was working and making pizza, which is nice to see a boss be respectful and proud of his employee, and happy to say it!

Side note (at my old hotel job our “boss” loved to try to embarrass the staff in front of guests even if it was his actions that caused the issues so seeing this was refreshing and restored hope and happiness about future bosses.) I went for pizza and left with a joyful heart…. Now about the food…

The spagetti was tasty and I’m not a spaghetti noodle or red pasta sauce person, it was a simple pleasure I’m not much of a meat person like I used to be so the sauce without it was nice. It kept me coming back to the bowl even when I was full …

The pepperoni pizza was nice, I am not sure if it was a pinch spicy or if it was just me lol but it was decent for me not to like spicy food, I ate it with a smile. I think it was a garlic knot was good, and that veggie pizza was my FAVORITE!!!!! I will be back for that for sure. I welcome new food places and downtown is usually a place I don’t like to go due to lack of parking but this place has pick up parking in the front I slid right into. I waited behind a customer ordering and waited for my food to be prepared and when I returned to the car, no tickets, no issues. I loved that, some places make you pay for parking even if it is a run in and out pick up so it made me feel even better to not stress about my vehicle while picking up dinner. I say run to support this family, the experience was worth the purchase! It didn’t matter the price spent big or small, the appreciation shown was super sweet, personal, and welcoming. Thank you!!!

We recently ate here during a youth trip and the experience was great all around. The food came out fast and tasted great despite it being one of those places that has a large selection precooked and ready to reheat. Had the pepperoni and sausage calzone and it was delicious! Prices were very reasonable for being downtown and so close to the stadium. Would highly recommend for those with kids, ours loved it. My only small gripe is that drinks came in cans. I like a nice fountain drink with my meal. Overall great value and great food!

Tried Pronta while in Indianapolis for work. Wasn’t very satisfied with the food there.

I got a pizza with sausage, onion and mushrooms. Yet it was really bland and the mushrooms were pretty rubbery. Also got an order of breadsticks which had no seasoning at all. And the slice of cheesecake was really hard and dry.

After my experience I personally would not recommend Pronta Pizzeria.

Hole in the wall, family run pizza joint that is actually really good. We went there for lunch and the place was packed! Not a table was open so we got it to go. They ran out of bread sticks and the guy offered me a free upgrade to their Pepperoni stuffed bread sticks. Reasonably priced for what you get. Great quick pizza by the slice place

I called in a few days in advance to order 22 pizzas for a couple high school basketball teams. The pizzas were huge, the owner even tried to tell me to not order so much, but I didn’t listen and we had plenty of leftovers. We all thought the pizza was delicious. The pepperoni stuffed breadsticks were great, too. The best part of our experience was the stellar service we received!

This place makes GIANT pizzas SUPER FAST. It’s New York style and you can get by the slice or a whole pizza. You can get a giant 18 inch pizza with two toppings for like 32$ And I can’t believe how quickly it’s ready…. Seriously in like 15 minutes! Always nice and hot when I pick it up. Dough is very soft and a little chewy. My favorite pizza spot in Indy I’ve found so far

Looked for a quick evening meal while traveling. Great service and clean restaurant. Pizza was ok, not special and at $11/combo slice, makes that whole pizza about $60…even the best pizza I’ve had wasn’t that expensive…overpriced.

While visiting Indianapolis I had to hit up a few pizza places. This was stop #1. Arrived after 4pm. No customers other than us. Unfortunately, the pizza that was behind the glass looked to be from the lunch rush… I got a slice of Margherita, they took it from the holding area and threw it back into the oven. When it came out it was nice and hot. The dough had great color and crunch, with a good amount of chewiness. The sauce was deep red, had a very slight flavor. The cheese was pretty much old and reheated and looked as such. The basil leaves were definitely not fresh. The pizza had minimal flavor which I suspect was because it was not freshly prepared. The atmosphere was very minimal. The service was good, however no conversation other than what we wanted. I wish the pizza was fresh I’m positive it would have been better.

Edit* the next day I tried a slice of Sausage and a Connoli. Oh my…the cannoli is fantastic. And the sausage is much better.. however the whole system is the same. Precooked and reheated. Interesting process. Definitely leads to a nice crisp crust. I am upping my review score to 3 stars.

Update: 2024. Pepperoni Pizza was very good. 4 star updated score

Edit: 2025 visit. Pizza still very good. Nice crispy snap to the thin crust. No flop issues. Very good pizza. They appear to No longer sell Beer and Wine.

I visit Indianapolis quite regularly for work, I tried one of their pizzas during one of my trips and I loved it! Every other time I went, I found it closed… they seem to have a bit of anarchic working hours! I stopped trying! would I recommend their pizzas? Absolutely! Ring before you go, though…
