My wife and I had our first visit today to Prince’s. I ordered the Andre chicken sandwich (mild with kicking ranch) and baked beans. My wife ordered the grilled chicken (mild) Mediterranean salad.
Sometimes you order chicken that is just hot but not good. This was good chicken that also happened to be spicy. Our chicken was juicy, flavorful, and served fresh. The beans were great. My wife was very happy with her salad.
The restaurant was clean. The gentleman taking our order was very helpful and polite. We really have no complaints.
When we visit Nashville we normally have two or three places we really enjoy for lunch and dinner. Prince’s will be added to that rotation.

10/10 Best hot chicken anywhere ever. As a trucker, I try food all over the country & nothing is this good. The watermelon tea and medium hot was AMAZING. 1000x better than Hattie B’s. I’ve been to Hattie B’s several times & decided to try the OG. Hattie’s sides suck, Prince’s are . The chicken is better, the service is better, the drinks are better, better parking.. everything is better. The young man working the counter came to check on us & ask how we liked the food. Great service, clean restaurant. It’s obvious they take pride in their place & I will never go to Hattie’s again for these reasons.

The location itself? Big, clean, and inviting. You don’t feel rushed, crowded, or side-eyed. It’s giving “come in, sit down, enjoy yourself.”
Now… this strawberry cake needs its own paragraph, maybe its own fan club. This cake is smacking. Moist, fluffy, airy like it’s been doing yoga. The icing? Light. Not thick, not heavy, not trying to glue your mouth shut. It knows its role and plays it perfectly.
And yes, in one of the photos, I am actively feeding you a bite of this cake. You’re welcome. Don’t fight it. Open your mouth and accept the joy.

Got the medium spicy chicken sandwich sweet heat and 4 chicken tenders. The seasoning for the chicken was amazing, the tenderness of the chicken is inconsistent. For the chicken sandwich it was soft moist and tender but for half of the tenders some were tough some were tender. I dont like the sweet heat saice as much and would prefer plain but got it to try it out. Also, if you cannot handle heat, do not get medium as there’s a kick to it and I enjoy spicy thai spicy foods. Medium-hot is just right for me, but for the non spicy peeps, just stick to no heat. Regardless amazing food overall.

This is the real deal Nashville hot chicken. If you don’t believe me, fact-check it for yourself!! You all know I don’t normally eat chicken, and I try to steer clear of fried foods. But, this is well worth the cheating experience! I got the salad with two absolutely perfect and delectable fried tenders. Go easy on the heat here, figure out what you can stand and dial it back when you order… unless you’re punishing yourself for stepping out and being a player (see the history, man!!). Everything here pair’s great with their Uncle Nearest frozen drinks (that’s another real story to check out!! Hidden in the plain sight of truth!). We went as a group on a Thursday night, so stay for the DJ and Karoke and more drinks if you can! Bon Appétit

Quick service the place was clean and no wait. I finally tried the hottest chicken on the menu. It was good but if you are looking for just delicious hot flavorable chicken I recommend 1 or two selection down less hot. It was still good but my burning mouth and lips just overpowered the chicken flavor for me. Must add, I had chicken from the original spot and enjoyed it better even with the wait. Sides were on point. Loved the greens and cornbread.

The food is amazing. Flavor is really good. The service is horrible. Everyone that you see up front working there seems pissed off at life. They sat our food on the table next to ours and walked away. We didn’t complain at all. They forgot our chipotle ranch. That happens. But when you ask for it nicely they look annoyed and pissed off. Highly recommend the food. The cooks do an amazing job. If you want good service though don’t come here. But I think the food is worth dealing with the angry employees

After 8 years in Orlando, I have yet found a true Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant. I mean, there are some decent ones, but nothing like back home.
So, after 5 long years, I traveled back to Nashville, and of course, I went straight to the source.
Prince’s is where it all started. And let me tell you, they’re still the best. There are many like it, but still not as good.
I had the quarter chicken, medium (shame on me) with fries. Man, it brought back a lot of memories. So damn delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, moist and super crispy. Just like I remembered.
If you’re ever in the Nashville area, you need to pay them a visit. You won’t regret it.
Before I forget, this is their new location at the Tanger outlet mall. Super convenient and right off I-24. It is a very clean and organized restaurant. The staff was great as well.

What an unexpected surprise! As we were shopping we decided to try Prince’s. It was crowded but the counter service was friendly and informative. Took an adequate time to deliver food. My dish didn’t come with a cornbread muffin, when I feigned disappointment the employee brought me one for free. So considerate. We were a party of four and one of is picky. I chose the four tenders and they were fried perfectly with the thickest, juiciest and best quality chicken. The half chicken was also fantastic. I had mine mild and mild was just about as spicy as I could handle. My friend had his chicken medium and it was spicy. He loved it but I don’t think I could handle it. Husband commented that the ‘Get it Girl’ Greens were the best ever! Ooh! And don’t forget the chess pie!
