The buffet was super super worth it. 12.99 and all this food. The sweets itself would sell for that price anywhere else. I had gulab jamun, mango tutti fruity and kheer. Naan and rice with 5+ curries. It was all so good.
The pakora too. Loved everything

My husband decided to try this place and I’m glad he did. He ordered it via door dash and it came nice and hot.

Chicken Samosa: They were delicious . The green sauce was no Bueno but the brown sauce was mmm mmm good. These were the highlight of the dinner.

Lamb Curry: Baby that Lamb was tender as they come. It’s more gravy like but the combination was alright with me.

Chicken Tikka Masla: My husband enjoyed it. I’m not such a fan of spice and but he tore it out.

I’ll definitely order from here again.

My experience was through food delivery, I didn’t eat in the restaurant but overall my experience is greater! I’m surprised with the lower review on Google! My food was great, I got chicken tikka masala and lamb biryani, both were delicious, fresh and spices taste good, meat portion was relatively good, I wish plates were slightly bigger since the price is on higher side! But overall I would 100% recommend this place!

I ate something bad.

Like there was a chunk of udder disgust in the form of a concentrated spice tablet in my curry. I chewed it once, and a foul, stomach wrenching flavor erupted and nuked my taste buds. I don’t know what it was, just a traumatic memory of complete repugnance. I was there with some freshman for dinner, and it forced me to spit it out, ruining my self respect and my upperclassman image. I can never enjoy Indian food again because of this experience, and am forced to leave a one star on this establishment. I would leave a -5 star if I could.

As such, I cannot forgive this sin against my mouth and my dignity.

Outstanding Indian food for a really good price. We’re college students and we are still shocked at how reasonable the price is.
We’ve tried the chicken tikka masala, chicken tandoori and butter chicken and loved all of them. I’d recommend getting mild spicy on everything as it tastes much better. Also the chicken samosas are a yummy appetizer.
Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Pittsburgh!

Today I ordered my favorite Indian dish, Chicken Tikka Masala from a restaurant I had not ordered from, the Prince of India Restaurant in Oakland. I placed my order online and had it delivered. The only delivery service was through Postmates. This was my first experience with Postmates as well. From the time of order to the time of delivery was about 50 minutes. I was approximately 6-9 miles away.

The order was hot and fresh. I first noticed though that there was no side of the sauce of which I ordered, but rather a lot in the chicken dish instead. The portion was an average amount, but could have included more chicken. The rice portion was the same size as typical Chinese take out. They could spare to have a more generous portion of Basmati Rice. I ordered two pieces of naan; garlic and buttered naan. They too were hot and fresh.

I usually enjoy spicy foods and thus ordered my chicken “hot”. It was indeed hot. Probably the hottest I’ve ever had for Chicken Tikka Masala. The flavor was full of spice though and tasty. I did notice a pretty significant layer of oil or grease on the top of the sauce. The flavor of the rice was good, but seemed to be a little old. The bread was average. It was thin and really didn’t stand out to be anything extraordinary.

The reason I rate this place 3 stars is the lack of attention to detail. The food quality was ok, to pricey for the portions, no silverware, napkins or plates were given and the order incomplete. I specifically left a note requesting extra masala sauce on the side. Instead my chicken was drowning in sauce. Now I love the sauce anyways so it wasn’t a huge issue, but rather the principle of the matter. The delivery was longer than expected, but that could have been on the driver. Lastly, it said there was no delivery fee yet $3.99 was charged for a delivery fee. I paid $24 for Chicken Tikka Masala, rice and two pieces of bread.

Overall I would recommend this restaurant and would like to go there during a buffet time, but it would not be the first Indian restaurant in Pittsburgh I’d visit.

Paneer biryani was the worst. Plain rice mixed with paneer cubes. Paneer didn’t even seem roasted. Apart from rice and paneer, there’s no veggies at all. Other dishes were fine.
Had another uber eat order and had tofu masala. It was very watery. I ordered veg biryani too but all it was khichdi. They have no idea how biryani is made. Idk how come this restaurant is still running. Never again!

Had their weekdays lunch buffet at 12.83$ (with tax). Spread was ok ok, no fish or meat items, 3 chicken items were there. Some recipes can be improved. It’s location was quite good. Though the staff members are not much welcoming to me

Ordered the Lamb Do Piaza and Chicken Jalfrezi and it came with rice , also an onion and a garlic naan. Both meats were super tender and sauces were rich, I enjoyed it. Portions are small for American standards but was perfect, and walked away full. Husband said it wasn’t super complex flavors (he ce 4 out of 5), but I enjoyed it. Would def recommend it to anyone.
