service was quick and easy. I got the barbacoa torta and my husband got the Chipotle chicken nachos and we split bacon and cheese fries. Not gonna lie some of the most simple but best bacon and cheese fries I’ve had..I mean look at all that bacon!! They are always sweet here and the food is always good. Thank you Primos!!

My first visit at Primo’s. Our waitress was pleasant and our food came out within 15 minutes.
I ordered Birria Tacos. It was actually just added on the menu so you know I was excited about that. FYI If you order meal in a large you’ll get 3 tacos.
I only have this review a 4 because the tacos could use a bit more seasoning. Other than that everything else was pretty good. Recommend and will revisit.

Not worth it for the price, quality, and portions. Several things on the menu were around $5 more expensive than what you’d find at other spots around the area. For a family of 4, with each person ordering a regular dish, plus a few sodas, the bill came out to be a little over $100 before tip. I looked up another Mexican restaurant not too far away and had we went there and ordered similar dishes, our bill probably would’ve been closer to $70 before tip (and the quality and portions definitely would’ve been better too, because I’ve already eaten there before).

You know that feeling you get when you spend your hard-earned money on food and regret the whole experience? That’s how I immediately felt.

I had the beef enchiladas with rice and beans and my husband had the steak fajitas. I appreciate food Coming fast anywhere depending on the type of meal it is.
My husband said he felt like the meat tasted old. My plate was pretty good but I also had ground beef which doesn’t take long to cook. I would like it if the enchiladas were more juicy (like have the sauce inside maybe?).

We had a really nice guy for a waiter. It looked pretty darn clean in that place, which I love and the sweet tea was good because every business makes sweet tea completely
Different lol either too sweet, just right, or
Not enough sugar.

It’s pretty inside and I liked that the host
Asked where we wanted to sit instead of just seating us cause I’m a sucker for a pretty booth AND he brought us a sling for one of our kids without us even asking, that’s top tier service.

The rice omg super soft and the beans and the chips and salsa, overall the food is good in my opinion. The chips taste super fresh and as crazy as it sounds have a durable authenticity to them, different than any chips
I’ve tasted before in a good way.

I thought this was a nice place. I wavered between a 3 and a 4 and decide on the later. They have a nice patio area with about 6 or 7 tables. The drinks were really good and the food needs just a little bit more seasoning to make this a five star place. The portion size is big and the price is reasonable. They were very busy tonight and it took a while for the food to come out after we ordered. I think after they are open for a while the food will be better. I would most definitely return for the outside patio and drinks. The food was good, but it does need a little something more for me to pass by the Mexican places in Colonial Heights to come to Hopewell to eat. I’ll try them again in a few months.

I wanted to like this place, but it was a red flag and a never again. We stopped in to have a drink and order our food take out because our rooms mates wanted food too. The waitress took forever to get us drinks and chips. The drinks did not taste like they had any alcohol in them. The waitress looked confused and stressed but we were the only people there. When we asked for everything to go, she seemed annoyed but oh well. I ordered over 200 worth of food. It was the worst Mexican food I ever experienced. Cold, Hard Rice, No flavor, and to make it worse the forgot my actual meal. The cheese sticks were served on lettuce. I called for my Bria tacos and no answer. The managers were standing around like security acting like people were trying to walk out without paying. I was walking to the register with my receipt and card bc their waitress left us sitting there. Trust me no one needs to steal that food no one wants it. A $230 lesson but we will go to our normal spot Los Bandidos.

Went here today and got a variety of different tacos and tried their pizza. The food was great and reasonably priced. The staff were all super friendly and attentive. Will be back to try more food!

Good atmosphere and a lot of options to pick from on the menu . Not long after we sat down they brought out Chips & Salsa that were complimentary, they tasted great. The food came out fast after ordering as well. I got the chicken fajitas which came with tortillas and refried beans. The food tasted great. I’ll definitely be going back to try the Burritos.

This is the place I used to recommend to everyone. I think the food has much better flavor than another restaurant a few minutes closer to me and right across the street from my kid’s practices and games, but I come here because I like the food alot more and the manager is so nice. Unfortunately, the prices have gotten crazy and it now costs my family of 4 $100 to eat dinner, even on Taco Thursday. Mexican used to be our quick cheap yet delicious meal. Over $100 for one dinner is just not in our budget. They charge $7 for a side of rice or beans, whereas it’s $3.25 at the closer restaurant. I know everything is more expensive these days, but that seems a bit extreme. Makes me sad because I love it so much, but we’ve had sticker shock when the bill came the last two times we ate there.

I love the food. We come here a lot. My only suggestion would be to work on consistency of seasoning of dishes and check on tables but still my favorite restaurant compared to others in the area.
