She ordered a Turkey Hoagie w/ Mayo & Pickles w/ Mayo & pickles on the side and I ordered the Primo Pilgrim w/ lettuce – special instructions to warm in oven.
Her Hoagie came with onions & looks like the they put lettuce on it and tried to remove the lettuce but left the onions.
Mayo on the side but no pickles.
Mine had Tomatoes & lettuce-Didn’t order Tomatoes AND its cold…..
The so called ‘stuffing’ is not.. its mushy croutons (not cut up toast – Croutons-)
BTW they Required a name for each Hoagie order but didn’t mark either Hoagie.
Wife recommended the coleslaw but I declined… upon arrival to pickup the hoagie, I thought about it… and asked the guy at the counter if I could get a taste of the coleslaw, just a spoon full…
He talked to another guy about it and came back to say it would be $1.00….. a dollar to taste it… how much is it, $20 a pint???
The wife says the Primo in Paoli is better & consistent. She eats there on a regular bases. Customer service at this location is unacceptable. You don’t deliver what is expected. For the price I could go to Claymont steak shop and get my meal correct. For customers not all Primos are the same. Skip this location and go to any other shop in the area. Primo Claymont is sloppy and unprofessional.
The sandwiches are good. The chips and cookies are pricey based on the size. But overall, I was satisfied.
I HIGHLY recommend to give this place a try if you’re in the area. 10 out of 10.
Also if you’re a fan of chips, I definitely would try their own PrimoHoagies chip’s. Tastes just like a hoagie!
