Don’t miss out on PRIMI, they have some of the best pasta we have had in Colorado. Fresh pasta, made in house and cooked to perfection. Locally sourced ingredients, including gourmet mushroom varieties! We make it a point to stop in when in town.

If going twice in one week isn’t a tell tale sign of excellence then I do not know what is! We love the food! Best homemade pasta and Focaccia bread! The wine selections are very nice as well. Haven’t tried any of the desserts yet, but they look super delicious. Staff is polite and very helpful. We will return!

Surprised by the numerous 1 star reviews here. The food options, albeit little limited, are priced well. Things are made from scratch. Noodles textures were good. The truffle flavors seemed non-existent but it could’ve been overpowered by all the garlic. Portion sizes were good too in our opinion.

The staff greeted us and took us to grab a menu and order at the front when ready. Not a big deal for us. We didn’t deal with the same issues other guests had.

We walked in on a Friday night for dinner. We had a 30 min wait, but we were able to sit outside with a cold drink from the bar. Dinner was delicious. My toddler had the butter noodles, and we ordered the Pasta Bolognese, Fettuccine al Tortufo with Meatballs and the Pomodoro with Meatballs. The Pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was delicious and the meatballs are a must try.
Food came out fast and the staff was super friendly. Would definitely go back!

Very expensive Italian spot. The dishes we had were good, but the limited options on sauces led to the 3 stars. The charcuterie board was great!

We came here in search of pasta for my son before his hockey tournament. We ended up ordering to go but enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the fresh air while waiting (about 25 minute wait).

The staff we encountered were all very friendly and the atmosphere seemed warm and relaxed.

The pasta was good, they also had some desserts including cakes and Gelato which looked delicious. My only sort of negative comment is that the kids meatballs were very small, especially for being $2 each.

We’ve been wanting to go to Primi for a while. On the off chance, we walked by for lunch & they were open.
The vibe of the place is very inviting, open and friendly… almost light.
The food was amazing. I had the simplest thing on the menu, noodles with olive oil (I recently had a tooth extraction). And for such a simple dish, it was incredible. The black pepper was on point. My wife’s mushroom pasta had great sauce.
I’m not familiar with Italian wines, but they do explain what to order for what dish. A few beers including Italian selections, this is a wine place. So consider that before ordering.

You order at a main counter & they bring the food to your table. They have a small counter with some retail to purchase (drinks, fresh pasta).
Highly recommended.

Its our first time here in Durango, Colorado and craving for Italian food. And we found this place and ordered the Ragu De Pancia and the days special Lasagne de Bolognese with a Tiramisu as a dessert. The food was awesome! Its really good. But I wish their service is a little bit warmer since we are new here if the staff could display a welcoming feeling it would really make a difference. But the food is 10/10! So so good! You should definitely visit this place!

Service was great, the waiter was super kind and helpful. We came in starving so before even paying we asked with bread and he brought some (of course it was added to our tap but with toddlers this is wonderful). My kids had the bolognese and a side of sausage, it was a good portion and overall it tasted delicious. We had two different types of salad they were both great specially the one with cucumbers which was very unique and different. I had the special (not in the picture) but it had sausage and red sauce, nos sure which kind of padre but it tasted excellent! My husband had the Siena and he said it was one of a kind!
