Cracker Barrel our go to place on the road.. Can’t beat it.. they was on a remodel on the outside while we were there.. Yes it’s not the same look… I like the old look you know the old mountain cabin look……..NOT the Hardie board look….

Stopping at a Cracker Barrel once in your life is a rite of passage when visiting the South and my kids have never been. This location is very staffed up and very friendly. The food isn’t what I remember but it’s good all the same. Definitely chain style food, like a home style Applebee’s, but consistently pleasing. Very large portions!

Grace was attentive and was sure to come back and check on things a few times to make our meal great . Service was very good. Our food was also good.. I think this has been one of my better visits and I will consider Cracker barrel more in the future. Great job at this location ..

Visited this Cracker Barrel on January 31,2024 with my wife. We had great service and great tasting food probably the best I’ve been to for this chain store. The pancakes were like funnel cake so sweet buttery and delicious ( I stole a few bites from my wife). I ordered the grilled maple glazed chicken and I was wowed it tasted great. I feel like the Cracker Barrel in Crestview, Florida, offers a dining experience consistent with the chain’s reputation for Southern comfort food. I’ve had Cracker Barrel before in different states and this one is no different.
The restaurant’s location near Interstate 10 makes it a convenient stop for travelers who want comfort food. There is a waiting area/gift shop that was fun to browse till you get called for a table. The restaurant had the old southern look and feel still which was nice. There was a few things in the menu that had been added since the last time I’ve been to a Cracker Barrel many years ago but there is still the classic staples too.
I had coffee and whip cream which was delicious and it with honey and I would recommend it. The pancakes were okay this time around I’m use to them being slightly more “crunchy” or “toasty” on the outside and fluffy on the inside. These were mostly just soft. The eggs and bacon and biscuits were tasty. Everything came out in a reasonable time and al the food was warm and ready to eat.
Service was spot on and we were taken cared of by our waiter and assisted by other waitresses too to make sure we had what we needed to enjoy our meal and experience. The restaurant as a whole was clean and orderly. I feel like I would recommend this location. Just a tip also avoid mornings if you can because it gets packed!

Great service and quickly seated upon arrival. The chicken fried steak with green beans mashed potatoes and corn bread muffins was excellent.
The two pieces of fried catfish could have been left in the drier for another minute as it was just barely cooked all the way and definitely not “flaky” inside the batter. The turnip greens were excellent as were the fried okra. The corn muffins were not baked completely through. Very doughy in the middle but well don’t on the top of the muffin.
The rest rooms needed attention as the wastebasket was overflowing with wet paper towels.
Our server did an excellent job and was very attentive and not hovering, which we appreciated.
Checking out was simple and quick at the main counter.

My husband and I went to Cracker Barrel Friday night for dinner. He ordered the hamburger steak. It was served without the mushrooms, onions and gravy. He ordered mashed potatoes and gravy as a side. When he put his fork in them it picked the whole thing up as a solid block. He didn’t say anything at the time about his meal because the kitchen was trying to deal with getting mine done correctly. I ordered the eggs in a basket…firm. I don’t like the yolk runny. The first time they brought them out they were runny. I immediately sent it back. A little while later a woman came out (I’m assuming the manager?) and she told me it’s really hard to make it with the yolk firm. I don’t know what she was wanting me to say. I used to order it there all the time when it was previously on the menu. She went back to try it again. A server brought me my sides so I had something to eat. The hash brown casserole was dry and crunchy on top. I was taking my last bites of my sides as my eggs were brought out. They were okay but my husband was done eating. The woman (manager?) asked if the eggs were okay (yes) and then asked my husband about his meal. He showed her the potatoes. She offered him a different side but he was already done eating. We were never offered anything off our bill nor was there really an apology. Very disappointing. The bright spot was the server. I know she is fairly new. She’s getting better and is always as friendly as can be!

Service was very slow took over 15 mins just to order drinks, I ordered the homestyle chicken breast meal and recieved the chicken tender dippers. And was too hungry to wait 15 more mins for another plate so just ate it. We expect better service next time we eat here. In 2024 hunting black powder trip cracker barrel was on top of their stuff. This waitress could not mult task or take 2 tables requests at the same time. Please find better servers, thank you.

Loved the Thanksgiving heat n serve family feast we ordered!! Was AMAZING!! And the staff was so friendly and made my pick up sooo easy and there was TONS and then some busy stuff going on there as well, but the staff was smiling and courteous and handled ~everything perfectly! If only we could get more people in the world like your Cracker Barrel employees!! We may just have a good place to be then! 😉
