Literally from entrance to departure, perfect. An expansive and varied menu, from side salads to waygu steak. I had the country fried steak. I’ve had them all around the country, this was an all-timer, perhaps in the top one. The dining room is casual yet delivers understated elegance. Music was a mix of light classical and crooner tunes. I don’t usually cite servers by name, those reviews always sound contrived, but Mallory is worthy of mention. I can’t foresee ever being in Dodge City again without making this visit. Put the reviews down and go now!

Hands down the best restaurant in SW Kansas. Wish there was something like it in Garden City also, but nothing compares. Definitely worth the drive no matter where you live. Amazing service and amazing food, it’s great for a special occasion or just for a lovely lunch. We always look forward to our visits.

On the golf course with nice views. The steak was very good but needed more seasoning. The salad was served with Feta, but no Italian dressing. The sides were large and sharable. Our server was also the bar tender, but he was always checking on us. The bathroom was clean. The parking lot was full because golfers were still playing.
They do not serve bread.

My wife and I dined at Prime on the 9 for an early anniversary celebration, and overall, it was a memorable evening. We had a 5:45 PM reservation and were seated right on time.
I ordered the Wagyu Denver steak with mushrooms and roasted garlic rosemary potatoes, while my wife chose the cordon bleu with mashed potatoes.
Unfortunately, my initial steak was unexpectedly tough—so much so that I couldn’t even chew the first few pieces, and one piece couldn’t even be pierced with a fork. At my wife’s suggestion, I politely asked the waiter to try stabbing into it himself, which he did without hesitation.
About 12 minutes later, a new steak arrived—and what a difference. It was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It was one of those dishes you find yourself thinking about an hour later. Absolutely worth the wait.
My wife’s cordon bleu and mashed potatoes were excellent—perfectly prepared and generously portioned. The mushrooms were fresh and savory, and while I expected mashed potatoes with my meal, the roasted garlic and rosemary potatoes came out as wedges. That small surprise aside, everything tasted great.
The ambiance was just right: clean, orderly, and calm despite a couple of large groups nearby, including a birthday party. I appreciated seeing the management keeping a watchful eye, making sure everything ran smoothly.
This experience was very much in line with our previous visit when I enjoyed the grilled salmon. We’ll definitely be returning.

I am not the type to leave a review, but our visit this past weekend was very disappointing. The food came out cold and very undercooked. My brother’s steak was to be medium well, but came out rare and cold to the touch. My steak was to be medium but was rare and the sides were cold. My potatoes were not even warm. My girlfriend’s burger was over seasoned with some type of seasoning and overcooked. The server was too busy with their phone and talking with other staff. I asked to speak with the manager (John maybe), but he never came to address our issues. We heard this place was good, but this unfortunately will be our last time returning.

Wife and I were looking for a good place to get a steak. We came across Prime on the nine, but thought it was private since it is located on the golf course. We almost chose Cowboy Capital, but wife wanted to try Prime out. I regret it, both steaks came out cold undercooked and over seasoned. Our sides also came out cold. Forget asking for the manager, as all he wanted to do was argue instead of offering a solution. We will never be back! Not worth $130.

My son has been attending college in Dodge City and I have been ib town several times, but I have never eaten here until today. Fantastic place. The best restaurant in Dodge by far. The pork chop & bacon wrapped meatloaf were both top notch!

We love dining here. First, we are always treated well with warm, welcoming smiles and amazing service. Everyone is so genuine and truly seem vested in making sure we have a good experience here. Second, the food is top-tier. There is obvious care put into making sure the dishes not only taste good but that the quality is consistent every time. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We’ve been fortunate to eat at some great restaurants all over the world, and we are grateful to have one of the top ones here in our own home town.

What a pleasant surprise as we visited for our first time. We were greeted warmly by our server Ally. The golf course view out the large windows was a highlight. The turkey melt sandwich and chicken fried steak were both excellent. Our server checked on us energetically and made sure we had everything as desired. The Cheesecake with berries for dessert was a hit.
