Max our waiter was fantastic. Very friendly, professional yet fun. Portion sizes provided us with leftovers. Filet Mignon, picahana and pork chop amazing and done exactly as expected. Loaded hashbrowns, asparagus, sauces along with mushrooms were also good. The beverages fantastic too. Thank you for a great birthday dinner. Will come back!

Tried out the new Early Bird menu (4-5pm). Great portions and prices. Nice option for someone who wants to have a delicious meal and leave feeling appropriately full.

The staff was attentive and friendly. We sat at the bar and got to experience Leon’s cool hospitality.

Really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Hubby and I decided to go here for an impromptu date night and it did not disappoint! Our server Nicole was brand new but we never would’ve guessed with her great customer service! The oysters were fresh and so delicious, our steak was cooked to perfection and the salted caramel cheesecake was a perfect ending to our meal! We rated it a 10/10 for our date night spots and will be returning next month for my birthday ☺️

Had a wonderful meal celebrating my wife’s birthday. We loved the wedge salad and wagyu steak. It has a Minneapolis steakhouse atmosphere while being located in the north metro. This was our third visit and we actually had a same waitress on our first visit and she remembered us.

Great Steakhouse with delicious food.

Cambrie was our server and she was outstanding! Made great conversation and was Just lovely. Only was able to take a photo of the deserts, but everything was phenomenal! 10000/10, if you want good food and great service and your willing to spend a little bit of money Prime is the place to go! Enjoy!

The steaks were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. Every bite was spot-on. The service was excellent too; our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. The atmosphere is very cool — modern and upscale but still comfortable and welcoming.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great steakhouse experience in Blaine. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was excellent. Our server was Trent, he is knowledgeable and really great! I had the Short Ribs, they were so good! The house wine was excellent as well. This is a great option instead of going downtown. Excellent all the way around. Highly recommend.

We decided to try out Prime rather than head downtown for a nice “fancy” annual dinner. We should have went downtown, it would have been better and cheaper.

The space is clearly set up for “family style” seating, with a couple of two-tops squeezed into the walk aisles that barely accommodate their food trolly ala Manny’s. Otherwise you’re in large booths set for 6-8 or the bar.

They advertise being certified to serve A5 Kobe, the pinnacle of steaks, which requires a level of skill and knowledge to properly prepare it beyond the simple procurement of said cut of beef. The image is a 6 oz portion of Kobe that I was served, with a very clear line of silver skin / connective tissue which simply should not be present in actual Kobe being properly prepared. This was, at best Wagyu, but likely regular old USDA prime fillet. Which, is a good cut of meat when priced correctly, but this is not a $45/oz cut of meat.

The server had no real clue and quickly punted to the owner, I don’t really blame her though because this shouldn’t have left the kitchen under the moniker of “A5 Kobe.” (Which is what the menu states.) The server was kind and accommodating as best she could be, but over worked for a “hundred dollars a top” level restaurant, another management oversight, despite employing multiple teenage bussers to lighten the load.

The owner did bring out a replacement cut of meat, which was at least 10 oz if not 12 oz, and comped a dessert. The replacement was done better, and for sure Wagyu, but was still improperly trimmed with some silver skin / connective tissue and didn’t rise to the level advertised.

The dessert we selected was a restaurant staple, “Chocolate Lava Cake.” This was a comped dessert and we received 2x of the servings, likely to address the main course issue, and it was also not as advertised. We received two flourless chocolate tortes with no “lava” inside of them. There was a raspberry and chocolate drizzle on the plate, but “cake” and “lava” were nowhere to be found.

TL;DR- If you go here, stick to the cheap staples like a pork chop. If you want something “high end,” go to a restaurant with an actual chef and not a place set up by an entrepreneur who watched “The Bear” that one time.

Last Tuesday, 2/10, we visited for your Date Night special and were really looking forward to going to Prime for a early Valentine’s Dinner. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout the evening, which we truly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations, especially given the $150 price point for dinner. When selecting our entrée, we were told the Picanha we chose would be similar to a ribeye or New York strip. However, what was served was quite different in texture, flavor, and overall presentation from those cuts. This was disappointing, as we made our decision based on that description.

We also ordered the wagyu sliders, which were enjoyable but fairly average in taste and execution. They did not stand out in a way that reflected either the premium ingredient or the overall cost of the meal. The Lava Cake we had for dessert was too rich for our taste.

For a $150 dinner, we had hoped for a noticeably elevated experience. Instead, we left feeling that we could have received similar quality food at a chain steakhouse for a comparable or even lower price.

We share this feedback with respect and the hope that it is helpful. We feel the overall experience could better match the pricing and the expectations set.
