This was our first time at Prime 13 and it was amazing!!!! We were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. Travis was our server and he was outstanding!!!! We started with the Pork Belly appetizer, the the Tomohawk Steak for two and the Surf and turf. All was amazing!!!! We will be back and everyone needs to come here and ask for Travis!!!! Thank you for a great 60th birthday dinner!!!!!

Enjoyed a delicious steak dinner with my husband tonight. We had a reservation for 7:15, we showed up 15 minutes early & were greeted by the host who sat us right away. The atmosphere is a little tight & decorated somewhat basic. Our server was Brigette. She was friendly & timely & made sure we were happy with our meals. Do yourself a favor & upgrade to the Caesar salad instead of the house salad. Charred romaine, shaved parm, very fresh tomatoes & crostini with homemade Caesar dressing. The wait on the food was a little long but the steaks were cooked perfectly: beautiful chair, the temps we asked for & great flavor. The sides were somewhat basic. We ordered the mashed potatoes which honestly were forgettable & the asparagus which was charred & pretty good. We noticed the host would make his rounds to check on tables & ask how their meals were & would make light friendly conversation. His name is Butch. What an excellent asset to the dining experience. So sweet & genuine of a man. Overall the experience was nice. Definitely worth it for the steaks but next time I’m hoping to try some better sides.

The lobster tail was so chewy. Can’t hold a candle to Red’s Lobster Pots’ lobster tail which we had the night before and was amazing and at a lower price. The porterhouse for 2 had lots of grizzle and was over cooked. We ordered it medium rare. Photo attached. The octopus appetizer was meh at best. Worst thing was they charge a 3.5% extra service fee which came out to $15 added onto our bill. Would have tipped more but because of the $15 added charge, we gave 15% tip instead of the 20% we always do. The service was slow but our waitress was nice. Spent $500 for a meal that all 5 of us agreed was average at best.

For context: this is the first time I’m leaving a review critiquing a business or restaurant. We went to prime 13 for my boyfriends birthday dinner. Upon arriving the waiter, not host, because there wasn’t one (This isn’t a critique because I know how hard it is for businesses to find a full staff) tried to sit us at a table directly in front of the door. We asked to be seated at a different table because there was over 20 open tables, and the waiter made it seem like it was virtually impossible. After offering us a seat at the “chefs table” (seats with a view of cleaning supplies), we politely declined and pointed to an empty table and asked if we could be seated there, the waiter reluctantly agreed, and acted like he did us a major favor by accommodating our request. I was a little thrown off by our starter of pretzel sticks with a mustard sauce, considering this is a steakhouse. We moved on to our appetizer, which was scallops over a bed of risotto, which were sparse, but tasty. Next we moved onto our salad (we declined upgrading our house salad into a Caesar salad for six more dollars each) and that was fine as well. For main course, we decided to go all out since we were celebrating, we ordered the steak special topped with a lobster tail, filet mignon and some side dishes. The side dishes were all pretty good although the potato au gratin was served with very thick potato slices. Both of our steaks were seared to almost a char. They had no flavor other than the burnt outside. Although we were extremely disappointed with the meal, we did not complain at all to the wait staff as we know it’s not particularly their fault. The reason I’m writing this review is because when we received the check, our waiter stopped at our table and scribbled something on the top of it. Upon further investigation he scribbled the number 52 on the top of the check, which was 20% of our check total. I have been to many dining establishments from fine dining to bars to diners and anything in between, and I have never had an experience like that. To assume that I couldn’t figure out what the tip was or it should be 20% and to be so blatant as to write on the top of our check completely rubbed me the wrong way. It’s safe to say we will never be going back and I’m leaving this review so other unsuspecting customers know what they’re getting themselves into.

First time here! Let’s start with the hospitality, the owner, first of all, he is personable. He engages with every single person there dining. What an intimate, and wonderful place! Every single food item was delicious! The staff, all wonderful! I feel like we need to go back this summer. You certainly need a reservation for a wonderful place like this!

First time here. I ordered the 8oz filet and it was very delicious. Glad I ordered medium well because it came out medium. It was a la carte so it came with no sides but a small salad. Sides were a little pricey, tried the disco fries. Average at best kind of wish I went with the twice baked. BYOB is obviously a ++++++. Just very small and tight in the restaurant.

Prestigious. One of the best Steaks and lobster tail combos i’ve ever had. Porter house combo for 2 always. Full of flavor. Place is quaint but worth it. Our waiters have always been welcoming and professional. BYOB

I don’t know where to start. We came here for a birthday dinner expecting a nice experience but it was the complete opposite. It took an hour for the waitress to take our order and then another hour for the appetizers to come out. None of the wait staff even gave us refills on water. 30 min after that the sides came out but no steak. Then once the steaks arrived and 3 out of the 5 had to be returned to be cooked more (the expensive tomahawk steak was raw). They came back and still were too rare. Check came and nothing was discounted. We heard the waitress complain about us when someone in our group went to the bathroom. Then as we were leaving, we addressed in a polite way how disappointing the experience was and a waiter who we thought was a manger said why are you complaining to me, then when we asked what his name was he said “my name is BYE”.
