The colossal fish sandwich hardly had fish and the French fries were burnt scrapes. I have never seen this terrible sandwich in my 40 years of being a Primanti customer.

20250705 First time here. I ordered online for pickup. The employees there were helpful and polite who I went into the restaurant to pick up my food. I didn’t want a sandwich because I wanted to get a meal with a plain grilled chicken to share with my finicky pup. So I ordered a salad… should have gotten a sandwich. Fortunately, my pup managed to eat 2/3 of the chicken, and after she was done, I ate her leftover. The chicken was a bit dry. The salad was ok. I wish the salad was a little fancier like other salad with a variety of veggies. This grilled chicken salad has more lettuce and not enough if other veggies.

I recently visited Primanti Bros and had a somewhat mixed experience. I had ordered an egg and cheese sandwich, but unfortunately, the sandwich that was delivered was a turkey sandwich instead. While I understand mistakes happen, it was disappointing to receive the wrong order, especially when I was looking forward to my egg and cheese sandwich since I’m a vegetarian.
The service didn’t help improve the situation. The waitress was very slow and seemed disengaged, which made it hard to get attention when I needed it. To top it off, when I finished my meal and was ready to leave, she didn’t inform me where I should go to pay the bill, leaving me a bit confused for a moment.
On a positive note, the egg and cheese sandwich that I eventually got (after some delay and confusion) was really good — the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sandwich itself was flavorful. It was just a shame that the overall experience was marred by mistakes in the order and lackluster service. I hope this was just an off day for them, but I’m hesitant to return after this experience.

We were passing through on a road trip and were excited to try the sandwiches. Got a pastrami and a corned beef and were quite disappointed. There is absolutely nothing special about the food here. The sandwiches were bland and dry. The corned beef was slightly better, I do not understand the hype at all. The service was fine and fast, we took the food to go, so we didnt have much interaction with the workers but they were nice enough. I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend this place.

This is a hard pass for me. First clue should of been the very dirty bar, uncleared tables and staff attitude. Nobody wanted to be there and it showed. The food was edible but the blue drink w the ducks in it was horrible. I took one sip and said nope and pushed it away. Not sure how this is a successful local chain.

So busy when we went there, had to get a booth with a step up, because we didn’t want to wait for a table on the floor! We know why it gets busy: delicious food, good prices, great staff and service! On site parking, clean bathrooms.

We unintentionally took advantage of their 9-11 pm happy hour on a Friday night, and enjoyed a 20 oz beer for just $2.50 and a mule for $4.80! All alcohol.is half-price!
The giant signature sandwiches were great, too. They would have been even better if the bread wasn’t cold.

First off, my waitress and bartender Christina was so friendly and helpful all while making drinks 100 miles an hour. I’ve been to alot of bars and pubs, with amazing and professional bartenders. She was so fast and efficient. The other gals were friendly and good too, but Christina didn’t go more than a second or two without grabbing a fresh glass or pouring, or mixing drinks.
My food was really well done. Quick service. Great savory quality. I added xorn beef and shaved turkey to my already loaded sandwich. I’m definitely coming back before I leave town. I returned 2 more times that weekend. Fantastic pizza!
