This small Thai restaurant offers a unique fusion of Thai cuisine. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted with fresh ingredients. Some dishes lacked the expected heat but it still tasted good. The soft shell crab salad was our favorite. And also the smoked coconut ice cream is a must! The waiters were very helpful and attentive. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere made for a pleasant dining experience.

The food at prik hom was good but imo didnt justify the exorbitant prices.

The hai yai chicken was interesting like they use a Cornish hen. The corn cob fritter was also very tasty.

I hate having to pay on the side for jasmine rice. It would be nice to price it into the entrees.

The eggplant basil which was the simplist dish was quite nice with a lot of wokhei.

The beef curry was nice. The fish wrapped in a banana leaf was probably the best thing we ordered.

All in all I might come back here.

Tapas style seasonal and regional Thai dishes. Order many of the small plates to share with your party. You won’t find the mainstream Thai dishes here FYI. The stir fried eggplants were my favorite and I’d recommend it. The only negative was the aggressive waiter, he insisted we order the scallop dish many times when we didn’t ask for any suggestions. We ordered it any way and it was just okay. Overall, the food was good and it looked like a nice local spot.

Lovely dinner at Prik Hom. Scallop & lemongrass appetizer & dessert (coconut pancakes & coconut ice cream) were by far my favorites. Mushroom curry soup was light and subtle. Seafood curry was rich & tasty, but did not love the texture of the stir fried shrimp. They were out of a few things like white rice and coconut water. Quiet atmosphere conducive to casual catchup with friends. Like another reviewer said, def worth trying at least once!

Umami shrimp was overrated. The shrimp is not fresh and even stinks.
Scallop is good with complex flavor. But overpriced. I mean almost $18 with tax for 2 scallops?
Also ordered the beef jerky. Pretty good, dry but good.
Wouldn’t recommend. Too small portion and only 10 tables in a small room. I was afraid to go to the bathroom because the hallway was so tiny and hard to pass.

Prik Hom is a unique modern Thai food restaurant. Love it but it’s not traditional. Elevated, great flavors, unique and the menu changes with the seasons.

I went on July 4th, made a reservation when the restaurant opened and arrived a short while before the opening time. It is a small restaurant with only about 10 tables. The staff greeted me and chatted with me very friendly, recommending the dishes that I should try. The menu changes every three months, which makes it very interesting. The starters arrived shortly after, and the scallops were very fresh. The “Hat Yai” fried chicken was also delicious. The two salads that followed were even more delicious. After that, we waited for the main course for a while, but we were not very impressed. As for the desserts, we will definitely come back to try them next time.

I love Thai food and I really appreciate the cleaned-up, new-school approach with fresh flavors. We were happy to slide into a parking space right out front and found the place nearly empty when we sat down at 6:15, gradually filling up by the time we left.

Lemongrass scallops — a tasty bite. I would have enjoyed more heat.
Roasted cabbage/veg — good if you like plain veg, but… very plain. Dry kubocha squash + broccoli rabe made a nice bite but could have used some seasoning.
Aromatic “dry spice” curry — def a step up from your average Thai curry. Very tasty, but more sweet than spicy. I would have enjoyed more heat here too.
Clams with chili jam — good clams and plenty of them, but I didn’t quite get the chili jam… Still, very tasty once I applied plenty of the hot pepper/fish sauce.

Overall, worthwhile and I’d go back, but I’d encourage them to add use more heat — and my partner would have liked more protein options as well.

We had an excellent meal at Prik Hom. Each dish was very unique, flavorful and the food felt very fresh and light.

The scallops are a must! The beef curry and shrimp stir fry were also great. Portions are on the smaller side so you can try a number of plates. The Thai tea was a nice pairing as well (they kindly adjusted the sweetness level!). We will definitely be back for a causal dinner.

Smallll portions, but very tasty. My friends and I took the “family style” approach and damn near ordered one of everything on the menu.

HIGHLY recommend the Brussels Sprouts, Grilled Beef Curry, Squid with Salted Egg Sauce and Eggplant with Basil dishes. Seasoned to perfection, absolutely delicious.

Some of the other dishes left a little to be desired but overall an enjoyable meal with good service and nice indoor atmosphere (dope art to boot).

Wine selection was good. We went with some orange wine (Bheeyo) and that didn’t disappoint. Nice compliment to a pleasant meal.
