My family and I have been coming to El Presidente Restaurant for almost 30 years, and every visit reminds us why we keep returning. The restaurant is always impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment from the moment you walk in. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, flavorful, and served fast & hot!. Whether we order our usual favorites or try something new, the quality never disappoints. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel valued. The bartender provides outstanding service with a warm, upbeat attitude, and the manager is always present, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that guests’ needs are met with care. El Presidente is a place we’re always happy to recommend.

I used to come here quite often several years ago. I’m traveling to town so I decided to stop with a friend and was kind of disappointed in service and staff. Well specifically our waitress. She was quite short and very quick like if we were just another customer to be done with and on to the next. At the end of our meal we added the tip and signed the receipt and from there on she was a blatantly cold and rude, Even disrespectful.
We had deposited the other half of our meals in two boxes and we asked her for a bag
We are traveling with these boxes 150 miles. She kept walking and replied ” a bag” and laughed and kept walking and wouldn’t acknowledge us from there on out.. purposely ignoring us while doing nothing but making her point clear. She didn’t like her tip which was a decent tip especially considering her and non-personal service and too busy or in a hurry to take time to make us feel welcome. Her name was Angelina or Angelica .

Where do I start..lol ok service and place was ok……butttttttr the food was extremely plain with no flavor whatsoever, i do not know how they have stayed in buisness for so long. If I were u I would revamp the flavors …presentation was ok but flavor is not there. To be honest. I tried a fe2 items as well.. I had the shrimp cocktail, nachos and burrito, so I did try a few items…so dont think I am bashing them on one item. But I couldn’t even finish eating soooo… 100.00 usd later I just was so disappointed I just paid and left..thank you but no thank you. Try it if u dare.!!

This Mexican restaurant delivers a consistently impressive experience. The dishes are vibrant and flavorful, reflecting authentic recipes executed with care and fresh ingredients. Portions are generous without being excessive, striking a satisfying balance. Service is attentive and personable, complementing the warm, inviting atmosphere. Remarkably, all of this comes at a price point that feels entirely fair, making the restaurant a rare combination of quality, hospitality, and value. For diners seeking authentic Mexican cuisine done right, it is a compelling choice.

Great old school Mexican American food. Large portions. Tasty Margaritas and wonderful service. Currently undergoing a remodel and look forward to coming back soon. Have been coming here since they opened.

I’ve been on a quest of sorts to find a Chile relleno that reminds me of my Mom’s authentic cooking. I’ve visited chain and Mom ‘n’ Pop restaurants throughout greater Los Angeles to no avail. That is… Until a few weeks ago.
El Presidente has been a Valley staple for decades. I’ve dined here many times for lunch and dinner over the years and then forgot about them ‍♂️. A few weeks ago I gathered with Family because it was centrally located to our various homes.

The place was loud, mostly because we sat in the outdoor dining area due to one of our group having brought their dog . The wait staff was polite, but a bit forgetful as we had to request our drink orders multiple times before we received them. The chips and salsa were on oar with a typical restaurant.
Our group ordered a wide variety of meals including fajitas, flautas, tostada, tacos and chile relleno.
It seems whereever I order this entree something isn’t right… Either the cheese is coagulated and unmelted… Or it’s so overpowering one can’t taste the Chile Or it lacks the traditional tomato-based sauce.
Imagine my surprise when THIS Chile relleno hit all the ‘markers’. Flavorful, robust, with the perfect amount of melted cheese and a sauce that left me wanting more. Unfortunately, I was full and didn’t order another one, but I was surely tempted!!!
My dining companions all enjoyed their meals as well and aside from the beverage issue, everything met our liking and we (I) will definitely go back!

This restaurant holds dear to my heart. My parents went on their first date here 40 years ago and have brought their children here and now I have come here with my family. Food is always delicious and staff is always very friendly.

The server was very nice but not very attentive. We had to wave him down for refills as well as for boxes at the end. The restaurant wasn’t too busy (rainy day), so it wasn’t like he was overwhelmed with tables. We couldn’t find him when it was time for the bill, so we just asked a waitress that had been nearby for the check and settled it up front.
Sort of a weird note – the booth seats are really low. Our table wobbled and was sticky.
The food was good. The chips were fresh and still warm. They had no issue bringing a second salsa, which was nice. The table was so big you’d drip salsa everywhere sharing it.
The proportions were decent, and the variety in options was great.
The rice and beans were delicious. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, and the beans were fresh and cheesy but not overly so.
Fajitas were really good and had a decent meat to veggies ratio.

Enjoyed a later dinner.
Service at table was from the bartender, so it was slow. But food was good, just not too hot.
