I stopped in for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised — the deals were fantastic, and the selection didn’t disappoint. The service was attentive and friendly, which really added to the experience. The fish was impressively fresh, clearly a highlight of the menu.
That said, the atmosphere was mixed. The crowd skewed much older, which may or may not suit your vibe. What really took away from the experience was the outdoor smoking — the smell carried into the restaurant and made it hard to enjoy the meal fully.
Overall, a place with great service, fresh seafood, and an unbeatable happy hour, but the smoking issue definitely needs to be addressed for a more comfortable dining experience.

Donna did an excellent job of pointing out the best selections available on the extensive menu. The clam chowder was excellent rich and creamy and full of clams. Gotta be one of the best I’ve eaten.

The food here is genuinely amazing. That is the reason I would consider coming back. However, the front of house experience has been disappointing both times we visited.
The first time, we told the host it was our first visit and that we were specifically looking for happy hour. We were seated in the wrong area. When we clarified with our waitress, she seemed annoyed and redirected us to the bar without much guidance. The hostesses also appeared more focused on talking among themselves than assisting guests, and it felt like we were interrupting them just by asking a question.
On our second visit during happy hour, the restaurant was busy, but the servers were actually working well together and providing good service. Unfortunately, when we were trying to place our order before happy hour ended, there was an unnecessary delay with the waitress we got, which felt avoidable and a bit malicious.

First time dining here & it was wonderful! Excellent service from our server, Sara. Had crab cakes app (special of day), blacked shrimp/scallops/grouper and shrimp trio. Food was hot, delicious & flavorful. Atmosphere like an old-fashioned high-end dinner club. Can’t say enough good about this place! So glad we tried it!

This restaurant is amazing! We came here for dinner and made sure to have a reservation before. We started with an appetizer of the Crab Cakes, which we got sautéed. They also have a delicious molasses, honey, and wheat bread they bring out free of charge. For the entrees we got a 6 oz filet steak with a baked potato, the Shrimp Scampi substitute for chicken, Boston baked haddock, and the salmon Mediterranean. The table favorite was definitely the Scampi and crab cakes. The crab cakes are available for purchase at the market in the front of the store to take home and cook later. We will DEFINITELY be back.
Our waitress Lauren was amazing and attentive as well. Definitely let them know about allergies up front for shell fish, peanuts, and tree nuts.

It has been a few years since we dined here, but it still serves the best seafood dishes around. Had dinner here this week with family. Everyone commented how good their food was. The staff are attentive, friendly and very accommodating.Below are pictures of the different dishes that were served. Highly recommend, call for reservations.

It’s been quite a while since I ate here. Brought a girlfriend to dinner tonight. Her first time. We both landed on one of the daily specials to eat. Everyone was lovely. The food was delicious. We left happy and with full bellies. I highly recommend having a nice dinner at the Prawnbroker.

Drinks were great. Order the lobster. They didn’t bring any butter. Took about 10 minutes to have our waitress stop by. She brought it right away but the lobster & scallops were cold.
Just seemed to be not enough staff for a Thursday.
