Should you go here? Yes! I absolutely love Prantl’s. Their almond torte is the best around. Everyone is always pleasant. Prices are fair and their baked goods are just delicious. Definitely worth the trip.

Hiiii!! My mom’s birthday was on 9/28 and I ordered her a white cake, buttercream icing, and raspberry filling (since her favorite is the white chocolate raspberry cake bar without the shavings lol) and we all loved it!! Prantl’s cakes are the best cakes — will be getting all birthday cakes from them!! Price worth it, and the decorators are so talented!! ❤️

Picked up my pumpkin pie Tuesday when I went to cut it Thursday it had mold all over it. The pie was not stored in a warm/hot area. We also purchased a cherry pie that appeared ok but nobody would eat it. I did call and leave a message but nobody called me back.

I just discovered this bakery, & I’m so glad I did. The almond tortes were amazing. The other stuff I got was good too. Prices were equivalent to what other bakeries charge. Can’t wait to go back!

Ordered a small round cake and 2 dozen cupcakes without sprinkles. Was charged $5 for NOT WANTING SPRINKLES?! Another service fee added and was told it was because eggs and butter are expensive?? Have a picture of what we wanted on the cake which was just ombré the side of the cake with yellow to orange to match the malibu rum bottle I was decorating with. It was ugly, frozen, and icing so hard I could t put the toppers on the cupcakes! And that little bit of cake we got was $89! Oh and tasted like crap! Will never use this bakery again and DO NOT recommend!! Way over priced! I would post pictures but can’t figure out how.

Prantl’s started our day with a beautiful box of the best donuts ever! They provided us with a delicious white raspberry filled butter cream frosted cake for a baptism and finished our day with a marble chocolate frosted birthday cake! All three experiences in one day were amazing! The staff was wonderful and all the bakery products were absolutely delicious!

This was my first time stepping into a Prantl’s. The one I went into was located in Greensburgh, approximately half an hour away from Downtown Pittsburgh. The location itself was in a small building surrounded in a suburban area, so it’ll be a bit tricky to locate if you’re not familiar with the area.

Nevertheless, I walked in and was welcomed by one of the employees behind the counter. The inside is small and their desserts are on the pricier side depending on what you’re getting, but the quality of their sweets makes up for it.

One of the desserts that was recommended to me was the Burnt Almond Torte. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend it. (No, the torte itself is not burnt, in case you’re wondering.) Other products that I got, which I would also recommend, would be their Pepperoni Bread and their Peanut Butter cupcakes. They have a wider variety in selections, including cakes for certain occasions.

The only thing I regret was that I didn’t take enough photos. Next time I go, I will support.

I finally visited Prantl’s for the first time while in town visiting family. My grandfather is in an assisted living facility and every time I come visit, I get him a pastry from somewhere new. The ladies were very inviting, kind, and it was great customer service.
