Kristina was such a wonderful server. We had beautiful atmosphere, food, and service all in one. Best experience in 5 years since moving back from Europe.

My wife and I have been going to the Prairie Star for years. I am now a member at the Santa Ana Golf Club and we go to the restaurant even more often than ever. The food is amazing and Chef Miles always has something different to tantalize your senses.
The wine list will blow your mind for a golf course restaurant with wines from around the world and local also. The have a Chef Miles special every week that is amazing, especially for the price! Appetizer, entre, dessert, and a bottle of wine for a very low price for two.

This was our 4th visit. 3 times just my wife and I. Once with 6 friends. Always, and I mean always this is a great place with great service and food. The Wine and Dine nights are an incredible deal as well. It’s close to us and for a romantic date night it can’t be beat. Love this place.

I would like to take a moment to share my recent experience at Prairie Star, which truly exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and received outstanding service from Kristine, whose professionalism and attentiveness made the evening especially enjoyable.

The culinary excellence of Chef Lucero was equally impressive. Each dish was prepared with remarkable skill and creativity, offering a memorable dining experience that reflects the restaurant’s commitment to quality and refinement.

Prairie Star stands out as an exceptional restaurant, combining exquisite cuisine with impeccable service. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience.

Whether you are high class or middle this is the place to enjoy fine dining at a GREAT PRICE . Not only was the service and atmosphere wonderful but the food was made with love. The bottle of wine included on the WED/THURS Menu was great quality. We will definitely be going regularly now !

Very, very disappointing. The air conditioning kept coming on throughout our meal. It was very cold.
The venison is so bucco tasted like old pot roast. When my date asked if she could have steak sauce , she was told no.
The bread and salad were very good, but with the AC coming on so often, it was bizarrely uncomfortable.

Went there on a Thursday for their wine dinner. We both started with the pea soup which was very good. I then had their flatiron steak and my wife cioppino. The steak was good—not the best I have had but a nice steak. My wife’s dish was excellent. We then enjoyed the lava cake. A great dinner for a great price. We will be back.

Want to be outside around a beautiful view but hate mosquitos (there aren’t many mosquitos)? This place has a beautiful view and a toad neighbor who eats the mosquitos! Mr. Hops a lot is worth the trip by himself! The outside view is what gives this place the extra star. If you base the experience on the view, it’s unbeatable. The steaks are not what you expect at that price point. The steaks have a charred and crusty exterior with a Demi glaze and butter. However, I’m not a fan for charred exteriors. It reminds me of the forgotten burnt food laying on the bottom of your oven…. And a reminder your oven still needs to be cleaned. The potatoes were flavorful and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. The fried artichokes is something different and worth trying. The service was great, upbeat and knowledgeable. I would recommend the experience and will be coming back to try other dishes. Be sure to make a reservation. It seems that this place is popular for weddings.

This was a great wine and dine experience with great views at a very reasonable price. Food was tasty and so was the wine, we had a bad experience at our last “chefs choice” adventure that cost us 3x as much money. You really can’t beat the view at this place and each course was something new and exciting exactly what a three course meal should be.

The tall older gentleman that greeted us at the door was very unpleasant and snarky like our presence inconvenienced him. But our server was fantastic and we will definitely return for more in the future.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Prairie Star this past weekend and it was such a dream event!! Rebecca and the entire staff were so kind and helpful and the food was amazing! It’s such a gorgeous venue with the best views and it’ll be a day we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.
