This is my second time ordering in three days! My husband has tried this establishment before many times but I hadn’t. Let me tell you,it does not disappoint. My family is from Jalisco where Birria is extremely popular and this Birria is some of the best I’ve had. No other restaurants compare to the taste/flavor, quality and freshness. I drive from 30 miles away just to get this delicious food. They have an extensive menu with various dishes enough for everyone’s palette. I’ve tried the quesabirria,mulita,enchiladas and birria plates and all have had great flavor, absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. They have aguas frescas and all are good but my absolute favorite is the guanabana or soursop, it’s out of this world good! Give Agave a try it won’t disappoint.

This place started out great when it first opened a few years ago,l. Then price doubled or triple and serving size has gone down.
It was my families favorite in Leucadia until tonight. Now we’ll never go back. I WISH I COULD TAKE MY 25%TIP BACK. After getting home the birria dipping sauce was not packed. The kids, super bummed and agro, that’s why we get birria, the dipping sauce. No big deal, I’ll go back to make the kids happy. Can’t let a $$60.00$$ quesadilla and 3 tacos go to waste. I drive all the way back, tell the guy what happened, he rolls his eyes at me, says some slurs in Spanish under his breath he didn’t think i would hear or understand, and orders a kid who doesn’t even look old enough to be working there to go get the birria dipping sauce. The kid brings out pretty much an empty little cup of the dipping sauce. I protest, say that its not fair and they laugh at me. Told me i can buy more if i want. It was so rude. I’ll never go back to that over priced place ever again and will be telling all the neighbors about this horrible situation.

Delicious food! Order for take out recommended, otherwise eat in your car or the small area of turf outside in the parking lot. The food far exceeded any expectations I had. Everything we ate was so full of flavor. I would recommend it all – the birria tacos, asada fries, burritos… and the drinks too! Fast service, considering they get busy.

Needed a quick bite to eat while I stopped at the gas station and popped into this place and WOW was I surprised in the best way! I typically don’t leave reviews unless I’m truly impressed by a place and Agave Birrieria certainly did that. Being next to a gas station, I didn’t have any expectations of the place, but walking in, it was incredibly clean and the folks working the counter were professional and very friendly, helping to recommend their favorites and what local favorites were. I got the quesabirria, which was fresh and mouthwateringly-delicious, and from their recommendation, also got the homemade coconut flan. The flan was light and creamy and it’s no wonder they sell out so often! I’ve been back several times now because I consider this a local staple.
My only wish is that they had some little tables so you could have the option of eating there, but that aside, love the food and the service and wishing this business all the success!

Great customer service. I got a steak taco and a tripa taco. I also ordered a half order of a side of asada fries and a slice of their flan de coco. My favorite thing was definitely the flan. I would go back just for that alone. The young lady at the register was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The two tacos I just enjoyed—one battered fish, one mini-birria—were simply some of the best tacos I’ve had in a long, long time. On EITHER side of the border. Wow. Stunning. I could go on, but do yourself a favor and find out firsthand.
Service is fast and friendly. Place is clean as a whistle. Convenient location right off the freeway. And the BIRRIA! AMAZING. And the salsas & condiments! And the light, crispy fish! Even the tortillas are dialed in! Kudos!
I grew up on the border. (My ex-suegra made IMHO the best enchiladas, rice & beans I’ve ever had.) Point is, I’m not easily impressed. Damn, though. This place is a jewel. ¡Probecha y Felicidades!

This little place, although tucked away is a diamond in disguise! Stacked to a gas station I always overlook, my roommate mentioned the burrito place beside it and oh man I’m glad they did

Usually when I come here food is on point! I rarely come cause its so far. This last time was alil disappointing cuz my burrito was so dry it didn’t have any sauce like it said and normally has.. We got the surf and turf burrito. With the price you def look forward to getting what you pay for so I wasnt to thrilled about it..but normally the shrimp Chipotle burrito Bomb. Shrimp was fresh. Also quesabirria is always top notch. my two favs.
