It is a nice little place, it was clean. They have a fairly good menu selection. I had chicken strips and fries, so fairly generic. It was good, but I will need to try some of their other meals. I had a brownie, it was delicious, homemade (I could taste the coco in it.) The service was fine. I could have used a table and chair to accommodate a bad back. The booths are worn, but I am sure they would be expensive to replace. They do have a drive up window and take outs.

Wife and I just happened to be in Chelsea about lunch time and dropped in. All the specials looked good, but she got the HOMEMADE chicken and noodles and I got a Wimpy burger basket. Everything was really good–even enjoyed the 70s classic rock on the TV (which wasn’t too loud). Waitress was taking phone orders, handling drive-thru, and waiting on customers. She was very sweet and attentive. (I think I heard someone call her Angie?) Homemade cherry pie and brownies topped with Blue Bell for dessert. Yum! Seems like a hole in the wall when you first walk in, but just the kind of cafe/grill we love. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but highly recommended!

And here is another fantastic restaurant in Chelsea OK, on historic Route 66.
There were several great sounding daily specials posted on the sandwich board. On the counter, a tempting apple pie was on display. Behind that a list of the restaurant’s ice-cream flavors. Pick one that would go with the pie, or just get a couple of big scoops of ice-cream by itself.
Two cheeseburgers for us. Big hand formed beef patty (fresh local beef), between fresh buns, properly loaded with L,T,P,O&M. I typically would not brag on crinkle cut fries; these were exceptionally good. Where I sat, I could hear them sizzle when they hit the fryer. About three minutes later they were in front of me on the tray, still sizzling. Hot, crisp, fresh.
Excellent food. Big menu to choose from. Check that burger picture.
Great friendly service. Plenty of parking and easy access right on Route 66!

We stopped in here on a motorcycle for a bite to eat… WOW!! Just wow!!! The food was delicious!! The club sandwich was very well made with plenty of meat and bacon. The French fries are OG crinkle and perfectly fried!! And the best part…. The apple pie dessert!! Heavenly!!! Please stop and you won’t be disappointed!!

I didnt eat much or drink much coffee because of the condition of the cup. Im sorry , i was excited to go there but i will probably not go back . 2 stars is being generous
