We had been traveling for about an hour and we were able to stop and have lunch. Prairie kitchen was one of the few restaurants that was open after the snow ice storm in January 2026. It had taken us an hour to go 30 miles, so we were grateful they were open to get somewhere warm and to eat. The server was excellent and the food came out hot and as expected. They have a very large menu to select food from including breakfast that is served all day. We will definitely be back.

What a great discovery. This was amazing for breakfast. Next time we are traveling thru this area, we will be back!!! It was really busy and full, but we were seated immediately. Our server was really sweet and told us about the history of the restaurant and how the owner is there everyday and was a former OU basketball player. Great place!

Pretty solid and affordable breakfast spot. Service was fast and food was tasty. I ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of pancakes and cinnamon apples. Also upgrade the white gravy to sausage gravy, which really was just them cutting up some sausage and adding it to the white gravy. All in all, it was very good and food came out very quick. It was fairly crowded when we came in, so quick and hot food is a plus. The booths were a little snug for a larger person but I managed to make it work.

This was good home cooking. I had the liver and onions. It was really good. The brown gravy was amazing. My wife had a chicken frued steak that she enjoyed very much. The atmosphere was very homey and kitchie. Service was pretty good. They were very busy, so I believe they weren’t quite as attentive. This restaurant is definitely worth the visit.

They have their own atmosphere and great home cooking. Not many places can you have anything for breakfast, 3 eggs, including pancakes, ham, bacon, sausage, corn beef hash, hash browns, Arnold palmer, and blueberries on top at 7:30pm Friday night. That was one meal not counting all the other options. Love this place

Came around 1:30 on a Sunday. Got right in. First timers. I got the chicken fried steak, eggs, hashbrowns and blueberry pancakes. The blueberry syrup really set it off! Also got the corn beef hash breakfast with biscuits and gravy. Will definitely return when in the area. Nice atmosphere. Hometown feeling.
