Delicious food every time we come here. I ordered the BBQ Trio appetizer and it was more than enough. Atmosphere is not too loud. Waitstaff came around frequently to check on us. Our drinks were never empty.

Such a fun experience with really good food. I definitely recommend the ribs! The burnt end were perfect. The grilled chicken salad was pretty tasty, especially with their ranch dressing! The service was impeccable too! The atmosphere is fun and family friendly!

The food wasn’t seasoned. that really made me sad because the atmosphere was amazing and the service was pretty good as well. I love the setup and the deep wide Booth seating. The booths are set up for three or four people on each side! It’s amazing. I got the fried steak and was very disappointed. The steak was overdone and there was way too much breading. My biggest complaint is actually the fact that it wasn’t seasoned well at all! I got mashed potatoes and green beans and neither had very much seasoning the green beans were flavored well they just needed Salt and Pepper. I was also impressed with the green beans because they added bacon and onions just like I do at home! Overall I think I’ll leave it at three stars because people go out for food not just atmosphere. Oh we also got two drinks of Bloody Mary and I think the other was as sandria. The drinks were fine simple. I will say that the portion sizes were generous. My boyfriend got a chicken salad and fried chicken in it. The portion was absolutely huge.

Found this restaurant while checking out Main Street Lewisville. This restaurant is located on an easy to find corner with multiple access points. It is housed in the former Lewisville Feed Mill. It’s a lovely location with available outdoor seating (dogs allowed -per sign).

If you want a restaurant that’s not a chain, has great food and service, go check out Prairie House Restaurant. The building was the Lewisville Feed Mill for 124 years, and the restaurant has kept the charm and history of the mill by utilizing the building and fixtures as part of the decor. We will definitely be back. Also, they have a great outdoor patio area that is pet friendly.

We attended the Prairie House for a graduation dinner. There’s a bar with daily happy hour. A room for private dining and outdoor seating under a beautiful pecan tree.

This places atmosphere is amazing!! From the rustic equipment to the saloon style bar, this place has it all from history. The food is another outstanding achievement!! The jalapeño cheddar sausage is a perfect mixture of bold, spicy, and sweet. The Smoked turkey juicy and with a wonderful smoke flavor. The chicken fried steak was so tender and flavorful! And last but certainly not least the service was amazing! If you want good ol Texas food this is the best darn place around!!

Usually order online from the crossroads location but we decided to dine in for once at the Lewisville location. it’s a big restaurant which used to be the Lewisville feed mill so that’s pretty cool! It was Thursday around 6:00pm and it was pretty empty except for some tables being used. We ordered the bandidos, which were so good I never had them before but wow they were good! I ordered a pulled pork sandwich while my fiancé ordered a chicken fried steak. When my sandwich came out it looked…very bland. I asked for no pickles, no onions and the jalapeño coke slaw on the side. That’s on me. But It’s supposed to come with bbq sauce but they didn’t put that on there. So I had to ask for the sauce and it took 10 minutes to get it. I understand though because the young man ended up having a big party show up so he was tending to them as well, as he explained. It still would’ve been nice to get a lil more attention but I supposed since we were a young couple he wasn’t too worried about us. Overall the food here is great, just double check with the server after placing your order to make sure everything correct.

Rustic decor and upscale home eating, this place has a lot to offer. Their happy hour is surprisingly good as well. $5 Old Fashions, among other options. There is also lots of indoor and outdoor space. Great place for families who have a diverse preferences in where to go to dinner.

This was a fun place. The service is a little spotty, but it seems like that’s because there’s a lot of regulars that like to chat with the staff. Food was solid, prices may be a bit high, but they’re published on the net, so you should walk in aware of that. I’ll go again – they had live music tonight we went, which was a great touch. No vegetarian options, which was a downer.
