I came here solo for a beach day. I was walking along the beach just looking for a quiet place to sit and was approached by Jovani. He was super kind and let me know i can use their beach facilities for free if I buy food and drinks from their restaurant down the street.
I spent about 3 hours here. It’s just some lounge chairs, umbrellas, tables. It’s good if you don’t want a fancy beach club (others have things like towels, pools, music, photo ops etc). It was just me for most of the time, so very peaceful and no one bothers you much (a few beach vendors but if you say no gracias they keep moving). Watched kids and dogs play in the sand or people working out in the outdoor gym next to the”beach club” area.
Jovani we very kind, helping me switch loungers when I wanted more sun, bringing a table for my drink, checking in if i needed anything etc. It was also good bc I left my stuff by my chair when I went swimming and the staff were watching it. The lounge chairs and umbrellas have definitely seen better days but they were fine.
My large Jamaica was good and not overly sweet. The food however was not great. I had guacamole which was good but the grilled chicken tacos were dry and served in flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas, very odd. The portion size was good though. The food was pretty slow to arrive but I was in no rush so it was ok.
While I was here i read some Google reviews and saw multiple people mention the bathrooms are dirty so I got scared to see for myself lol.
For my purpose, it was fine. There’s probably better options but I didn’t want to over pay for a fancy beach club but also wanted somewhere to sit rather than just lying directly on the hot sand. This is a quieter area on the beach, even on a Saturday.

Racism at its finest! My husband and I are here during carnival. Upon entering, a a short, heavy lady stopped us saying that if we needed to use the washroom, it would cost us 10 pesos. We said that we actually wanted some drinks and something to eat so she let us in. Sitting here, watching people come and go… anyone who is of Hispanic decent is let in, no questions asked to use the washroom. WOW. DO NOT RECOMMEND! The sadest part is that our server was actually awesome.

The view is nice (on the beach), the food is good but nothing crazy (be careful with the ceviche aguachile which is very spicy and the ceviche mixte is good) and the waiters are nice.

We decided to eat here based on the high reviews, grabbed a table on the beach and made the mistake of not looking closely at the restaurant until paying the bill. The restaurant is filthy and we are hoping we don’t get food poisoning. Also the tostada ceviche did not seem fresh – so we chose not to eat it. Fried fish was fine but served in mediocre store bought rubbery tortillas.

My main concern here is the complete lack of sanitation. I watched them make my daiquiri and ended up saying, no thank you! I ended up just buying some beers instead. I would definitely not eat or drink anything from here. The employees were not rude, but certainly not super friendly. You have been warned!

The manager proudly says he hires pen day hos… bathrooms are filthy and they have no soap anywhere to save pesos – do you think the staff washed their hands after poop and before opening your beer ??

We got a palapa with beach chairs the gentlemen that helped us out were so attentive. We ordered quesadillas de camarón con queso and they were so delicious.
