I’d return to Praha, this place more than made up for other less-than-stellar coffee experiences in Crozet. Chai tea tastes right. Molasses cookie delightfully gooey. Breakfast everything bagel was very generous with egg servings and quite heavenly – I gulped it down before leaving the parking lot. Friendly cashier. Prices are more than I’d like but on par with the area.

Stopped in to get a treat. The selection was amazing. Ended up bringing home a box of treats. Purchased a variety -the pumpkin cake, honey cake, cream cheese coffee cake, apricot and cherry kolace. Couldn’t wait to try and was not disappointed!! Each taste was moist and flavorful. So glad we decided to stop by.
*I thought prices were very reasonable

This has become our favorite spot in the area for sweet treats. They always have fun drinks on their menu, amazing sweets and even savory pastries. We’ve yet to have a bad experience! The service has been very welcoming and helpful every time we’ve gone (which has been very frequent considering we don’t even live in the area).

So excited about Praha! Absolutely worth it to stop by and give their menu a try! Drove by a few times when I didn’t have time to stop, so glad I made it in! Everything I tried was delicious. House made pumpkin spice latte was crafted beautifully, baristas were super nice, and the location is clean and fresh. Tried the spinach artichoke Kolace, had never had one before and it was so unique and delicious. Kinda like a pretzel pastry filled with flavor. Also, I am the PICKIEST bagel lover in the world, especially living in a city with Bodo’s and I have to say, Praha does bagels just right too! Perfectly soft in the center with a nice even crunch on the outside. The garlic and herb cream cheese was so good I had to buy a tub and more bagels to bring home to my husband who absolutely loved them too. I also brought home a pumpkin cinnamon roll- obsessed! All around great spot, will be making my way to crozet more often just for Praha!

Update: Oct 5, 2025. The lattes here continue to be the gold standard in Cville area. If you are lucky enough to have Molly as your barista, YUM
They do get busy at times but def worth the brief wait.
New comfy seating options too! Love it!

Sept 2025….Bar none…best lattes and pastries in town. Every barista has been warm and chatty…love the small-town vibe. Will return again, again, again

Great expressos and bakery delectables, however very busy of course but barista very busy too. So I’ll save face even though I was sitting on the barrister counter the whole time waiting for my expresso. Said she did call my number but I honestly did not hear it called hmmmm. Anyway, offered to remake because the original was cold. I give my business to Praha generously!

Visiting this gem in Crozet is an absolute must! From the moment you step through the door, you’re enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The coffee is fantastic and it pairs perfectly with all their amazing pastries and bread! My favorites are the kolač and Venecky!
What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service and the genuine friendliness of the staff. They go above and beyond to ensure every customer feels welcomed and valued. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you’ll leave with a smile on your face and a desire to return again and again. Don’t miss out on this gem in Crozet!

I had really high hopes for this bakery and had been wanting to try it for a long time, even though it’s a bit out of the way for me. When I finally made it there, the place looked cute and cozy, with a few people working on their laptops. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended.

There were three staff members behind the counter, completely absorbed in their own conversation. They reluctantly helped one customer, but otherwise ignored me. I browsed the pastry case for several minutes, fully expecting someone to check in, but no one did. Eventually, I walked over to the counter and stood there, waiting to be acknowledged. Only after an obvious stare-down did someone finally ask if I needed help. It was clear I was a customer, yet they acted like serving me was an interruption.

I had planned to buy a box of pastries for my family, but by then I was so annoyed I just ordered a single pastry and a cup of coffee. The coffee was lukewarm, clearly sitting around for hours, and when I asked for something fresh, they gave me a slightly hotter cup, but still not what you’d expect. To top it off, they gave me the wrong pastry. At that point, I should have walked out, but I decided to give them a chance.

The pastry was fine, nothing memorable. The coffee tasted like cheap office coffee that’s been sitting on a burner all day. Honestly, I don’t understand the glowing five-star reviews unless they’re from friends of the owners. After my experience, I relate far more to the lower-star reviews.

This visit was a huge disappointment after looking forward to it for so long. I won’t be going back; I’ll stick with the Mud House.

Here in the Blue Ridge Mountain’s of Virginia’s Crozet you will be treated to the most delicious freshly baked Czech pastries. Discover a kolace – my favorite is the spinach and artichoke style. Also on my top picks are 12-layer honey cake and bagels! And my kid just loves Praha’s chocolate chip cookies. My beverage of choice is their Chai latte but coffee is great as well! On offer are seasonal delights and sour dough bread. The hard-working owners of this bakery truly prepare your food with ❤️ Go!

Huge disappointment when a patron pays $25 for a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich and the staff can’t get it right. Ive been here multiple times and only two baristas have been able to make the same cup consistently. I waited for my sandwich to be warmed up, and the staff left it in the microwave so long it was not even slightly warm when they handed it to me. If this was my first bad experience here I’d have never wrote this review. Too inconsistent for too high of a price. I suggest going to grit for a quality cup, as I have always had a quality poor from there.
