People kept telling me to try this place and im happy I did. I got the Verde pozole with pork. It was a huge portion. They also gave me tostadas, chicharrone and the dressings. 10/10. I will be back! Horchata was the bomb!

This was my first time here on 2/22 I did pick up. I ordered the Menudo and Pozole they were BOTH Soooo flavorful and good!!! I am funny about my Menudo, so this place is hands down AMAZING! Highly recommend! I am so glad I found this place!!

Hello there! Im going to tell you the story of my experience at Pozoleria el Mexicano.
Let’s talk about the food. The sopes were amazing! It also comes with pumpkin or sunflower seeds. I can’t remember which one. The fries were also good. Tasted like any other fry you would have.
The service was good. There were checking on us. They brought the stuff on time. Also they didn’t mess any of our orders up.
The atmosphere. They had good music and that’s it. Nothing special, but nothing bad. The place looked clean and tidy. But nothing special.
Overall five stars. Great food. Awesome Service. Normal but clean atmosphere! Thank you!

The pozole is amazing. They have chicken options, not only pork pozole. Everything is fresh and extremely delicious. Please visit this community gem. My partner loved the fresh squeezed juices.

This place has the best Guerrero style pozole I’ve had from a restaurant in years. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the price was just right. The ambience is a bit lack luster but the food more than makes up for it. Bring your drinks or beer because it’s BYOB. Drove 25 miles to get there and looking forward to doing it many times more.

I bought 2 pozoles a green one and a red one approximately 3 weeks ago. As I arrived home I noticed there were bubbles in the green pozole and it smelled spoiled. I called the establishment and spoke to Miguel, and he said he will honor another pozole to just call whenever I was ready. I then Took the pozole back to them so they can see for themselves that it was spoiled. As i called today to purchase again 2 pozoles (one that they had said I’ll be getting as a replacement for the spoiled pozole), a person who refused to give me their name, said that 3 weeks was too long to honor. As I explained that I spoke to Miguel, the man in the phone said upset that they’ll do it but that they were going to have a serious talk with Miguel. I didn’t want to get that employee in trouble, I then said I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble, that I was simply asking for them to honor what they promised. The person became agitated and passed the phone to who he said was the owner, and his name was also Miguel. He also became upset, and I asked in this case what did he recommend we should do? I didn’t get my money back and I took the food to their establishment. Ge then said he wasnt the owner. I asked when can i speak to the owner, he said he didnt have that information, and the owner only shows up oncr a month. My husband intervened as he noticed the man was being rude and not letting me talk, and as they were both going back and forth, the person Miguel hung up the phone. The customer service today was terrible, and I will rather much drive to Pozoleria Iguala on Fullerton and Avers, than to give this restaurant my business. They hosted A Belmont United event to receive promotion and business, yet lack customer service. They kept my money and they kept my food, highly disappointed that this happened, shame on the owner. Keep my money, seems like you need it more than me, just know things like this don’t keep owners in business for too long. I included the photos, which I kept in case they said they forgot.

Have had this place a few times for their pozole verde and the breakfast, and they always are one point with authentic, fresh and delicious flavors. The picaditas remind me of Veracruz, so simple but amazing. The staff we’ve encountered have all been attentive and friendly.

The Pozole Rojo was very good and authentic . Especially on a cold and rainy day . Love the spice to it . One of the best I’ve eaten !! It comes with a side of onions , lime , radishes and half an avocado . Also comes with chicharrones on the side . Pozole is one of my favorite soups and they make it just right .
Their food portion is very large. The staff was very friendly .
Will definitely be back here more often !!
