Brisket: Moist but No bark present. Very minimal smoke line, not enough smoker time to even caramelize the fat. Very tasty don’t need a knife to cut it and has so much flavor that I considered not even trying the barbecue sauce. Potato salad is more of a mash and has all the necessary crunchy bits to make it perfect. The baked beans don’t let the deep color fool you they’re not overcooked and they also are very good.

This is the best BBQ by far. No, I am posting this review while I have to wait 45 minutes for the ribs, BUT it is worth the wait. The ribs are consistently tender with a perfect amount of smoke. Love the original BBQ sauce – not too sweet and not too tangy. The fresh cut fries are “bomb” and the cornbread is delicious too. Lastly, the people who work there are always really nice!!

Went to Youngwood Bruster’s site on a Husband date. Nice fellow customers. Family staff were hardworking, industrious. Aroma was awesome. Picnic tables enjoying the view was lovely. Tasty food! Meat portion was a little oily and getting less fatty piece would have been ideal. Overall good time.

My review is for two times when I ordered whole pants for takeout one time I went to pick it up and they forgot about it. Those were written right on the calendar. They forgot so I had to wait an hour for them to get it ready and if you know anything about throwing events that does not look good in the second time was last week. I spoke to the lady two days before we talked about how much I wanted it. I ordered a large amount and I went to pick it up and she didn’t remember exactly what I wanted so I had to wait and during that time she chastised this poor girl in the back I could hear her yelling at her Where this lady was the owner. This girl wasn’t her fault so the pork is delicious. Will I ever order it for an event again absolutely not.

I’ve always loved this barbecue..I thought best ever..made a trip to Westmoreland county fair again and was disappointed again..same as last year..got the brisket baked potato and it was total fat.. maybe two pieces of meat..for years Ive gotta there barbecue and loved it..but last two years..so disappointed..traveled along way to get it.. very upset to pay 12 for a fatty potato with two pieces of meat.. wolnt come back ..

Not only do we try to go as often as we can, we decided to have them cater my daughter’s graduation party. Everyone loved the potatoe bar idea and loved the pulled pork and chicken. Got a variety of their meats and side dishes for a party of 16. Everyone enjoyed the mix. Ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and brisket was perfect. Potato salad, coleslaw and mac & cheese sides were homemade and fresh. The cornbread muffins were great!! Family run, mom, dad, & kids hustle and made this a new favorite for me! Thanks guys!
