We found a clean, upbeat, casual eatery specializing in Mexican cuisine. I ordered their Saturday special, a burrito super gigante (plate-sized picture) for under $10 – definitely a 2-person meal or a hearty appetite. When we ordered our meals, we failed to consider the details associated with their post and the menu description. The Enchiladas San Roque includes your choice for meat, a fresh avocado topping, all covered with a light cheese dip. The rice and beans worked well with the chips. An easy, short break from the Interstate travels just South of Springfield, IL.

This place has been closed on Tuesdays for along time. There was a sign on the door they would be open again on Tuesdays starting December 9th. Went today and nope closed. What a joke. Get it together or close down.

This is our favorite place to eat since we moved to IL from Tx last year. The coconut margarita is by far my favorite drink. My new favorite dish is Tacos texanos. It’s always fresh and the pineapple and cilantro makes it perfect. This is the only place we go that we feel comfortable bringing our 3 year old. The owner is so nice and welcoming and staff and service is always great! We will keep coming back.
