I hate to say it but this is the worst Potbelly restaurant I have ever been to. I waited about 10 min to pay because the manager was on her phone most of the time texting and then packing an order. Until finally the guy who did my sandwich came to charge me and scrape the last cup of soup in the container. To top it off I went back to mention that a piece of a plastic bag was in my sandwich the manager finished charging a customer and quickly ran to the back completely ignoring me to never come back again. I told the 1st sandwich guy about it. He said can you tell the manager she is right there I said no she flew to the back she is gone. I just wanted to let them know I got a piece of plastic in my sandwich. Seems like she only caters to the white customers to be honest. I can only imagine how much she cares about the employees. It seems like texting on her phone is what matters to her. Worst experience ever and disgusting to find that in your food to top it off. No wait on a table because the place was not even busy but very very slow with 3 employees on sight.

Not gonna lie, I was felt really nervous while waiting in line, check out all that. But my sandwich though. I got the wreck with mustard and italian seasoning (plus a pickle on the side) and I dont know if its because i was starving but THIS IS SO WORTH IT.

The restaurant wasn’t very busy. Food was made fast and hot. I had the Mama’s Meatball sub. It was good but nothing too special. The place is decorated nicely. I was impressed with the amount of drink options they had. The restaurant also has bathrooms and places you can charge your phone.

Wait almost an hour for a catering order pick up. Was told 10 more minutes after waiting for 20 minutes. Never has this happened at other locations past 500 + deliveries . It’s crazy!

1st time visit to a Potbelly Sandwich shop, unfortunately would not return to this Oakbrook Center local simply due to the really poor customer interaction. We felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. No smiles, no assistance with ordering, just rote questions asked super fast. Sandwich was ok. Bread is pure baked and taken from a sealed plastic bag. Salad was very fresh and nicely sized.

I recently had surgery and my sweet dad offered to pick up a salad from Pot Belly’s for me. I was a little hesitant because he was not familiar with the mall. Sure enough he got lost! I called the store for help and they did!! The girl who answered the phone was so kind and patient and sent the driver to go meet my dad where he was. It was such a kind gesture! We stayed on the phone for like a good 10 minutes until the driver finally met my dad where he was. Thank you! Your team at Oak Brook rocks!
