This was our first visit to Potbelly, and overall, the experience was just okay—nothing terrible, but not particularly memorable either.

We ordered the Southwest Chicken Wrap, which sounded promising. While the wrap itself was decent, the ordering process was confusing and honestly a bit frustrating. We had to repeat our order to three different people, which made the experience feel disorganized and inefficient. First, we placed the order with one employee, but then the person making the wrap asked us again what we had ordered. Finally, when we went to pay, the cashier also asked what our order was. This back-and-forth made the process feel clunky and inconvenient, especially for first-time customers. It wasn’t clear why the system required us to repeat our order multiple times—it would be much smoother if it were handled by a single person or entered into a system everyone could see.

As for the wrap itself, it was okay. The bread was probably the best part. It had a pleasant texture and helped hold everything together well. The filling, on the other hand, didn’t really stand out. The flavors were mild, and nothing about it felt especially “Southwest” or bold. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t something I’d go out of my way to order again.

The restaurant itself was clean, and the staff were friendly, which we appreciated. Service was relatively quick despite the awkward ordering setup. With a more streamlined ordering process and some improvement in flavor or creativity in the food, Potbelly could be a stronger option.

For now, I’d say it was a decent but average first visit—not a must-return spot, but not a total miss either.

The subs are usually good but the sides…What is even going on with this macaroni and cheese? It looks like it’s been sitting out for 3 days. It’s not creamy and it’s dry as hell. I got charged money for this. Come on PBS. Do better than this by giving your customers FRESH Mac and cheese. I tried to eat it but it was disgusting. The pot pie soup we got had no meat in it and was also pretty gross. This is probably last time I will order from this place. This PBS has gone downhill over the last 2 years.

I love me some potbelly, but this place was extremely dirty. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single table was dirty. The garbage can was completely full, trash all over the ground around the place. Food was good, but I wont come back just because of the atmosphere. The Troy location is much more taken care of.

The store was closed inside while drive thru was open. They were short handed, however when I went to pick up a catering order, the guy who was working inside was just plain rude. (There were two of us waiting for catering.) Frustration for being short handed I understand, but don’t take it out on your customers. (Livernois Rd in Rochester, MI)

I wanna say it was good but……the one half I ate was good but when I went to eat the other half I saw a hair sticking out and thinking maybe it had just came from me or my sweater but that hair was IN the sandwich as I pulled on it, long and black or dark brown. I really hope the people there making the sandwiches has headgear on, on a daily basis going forward. I personally did not order this, as it was ordered for my work so it was prepackaged in a box.

I ordered a sandwich on WHITE bread! Got wheat bread. I was starving and it was dim in here and I didn’t notice until I already ate half of the first half. I have Crohns Disease and cannot eat wheat. I will suffer in agonizing pain now for weeks! Thanks a lot Potbelly! I’m calling our attorney!

It’s muy first time here, in a cold day I was starving for a soup and as many people have experienced, Panera failed again so I stopped at Potbelly. I ordered a Chicken pot pie bowl for five dollars and it’s delicious!!! I asked for some bread on the side and they gave me a crunchy hot bread that I wish I had asked for more! So good! Staff is super friendly as well. Will come back!
