Okay, I went over and over in my head whether to leave this review. I go to this location frequently. Let’s face it anyone can go anywhere in town to get a salad or a sandwich. Someplaces are a lot cheaper. But I always came to this restaurant because they had a lovely Manager, who turned out to be the District Manager… So she is not there any more.Well now let’s jump to the future. No matter how often I have gone to this place.The morning Manager literally doesn’t say hello or even make eye contact with me. She seems to be consistently in a bad mood.And I hate to assume this, but it’s quite obvious she dislikes her job. Now some of the young staff that are hired are very friendly and carring but I am going to tell you it is very uncomfortable going into a restaurant where you are treated the way that this Manager treats me. And I spoke to one of the staff recently, who said, no, don’t worry, that’s how she treats everyone. So very sad.
The food is wonderful and customizable but how is the owner going to grow the business if this behavior continues!

We got potbelly’s for lunch while in plant city for a vendor festival. Food was fast, warm, and delicious. The fresh baked bread made the sandwich so much better than other nearby sub shops. I got the avo turkey and the cinnamon churro shake. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

Compare the $19 for a sandwich and chips with anything from Jimmy Johns or Publix and this is very disappointing. Very friendly workers but the quality is definitely lacking. Way better sandwiches, especially from Old Tampa Cubans which is a locally-owned business. 3 star rating is generous.

The food was extremely bland. Like no salt or pepper was used in the making of the food. Hardly any sauce made it on either. It was all on the edge of the bread. We ordered the biggest option of the smokestack there was and it still looked smaller than a foot long. We also ordered a kids pb&j. If you don’t want it HOT, you better tell them. They toasted our pb&j without asking. Honestly. I’ll stick with Jersey Mike’s. Even the lemonade was bland. Like the sweetness was screaming from across the room. Not even a little tart. Zapps should really rethink branding with them.

The inside looks really cozy, very nice atmosphere. We ordered two soups+salads(trying to eat healthy). The food did taste really good and the portion size was nice. I felt I was getting the same quality food I was used to receive from Panera but for half of that price. We loved everything. I can’t complain, we will return for more

This was the first time I’ve tried Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and it was good. I got the Philly cheesesteak with the works. I did cut the mayo from the works. They have a Deli-Mustard that was okay. I would have liked a more mustard taste (more like a yellow mustard… but it was ok. If you like “Hot Peppers”, you’ll like these baccarat they do have some great to them. The chips were good as we the drinks. They have some revitalized drinks (lemonade with Tumeric that sits taste different). Just note that this lemonade will taste a bit different than your classic lemonade. Overall… I believe you would enjoy stopping here for a bite to eat.

This was our first and last time eating at this restaurant. The sandwiches were ok. Staff wasn’t friendly or rude, just there. I left the salad that the manager made me on the table unopened due to the fact the chicken was grey, apples were mushy, and grapes were 1/2 rotten. It was disgusting! I have included a picture of the salad.

The people working either don’t understand how to work efficiently or there just plan lazy. Food says will be ready at 12:32 at 12:40 no food and not 1 employee could tell me where my food was or how long it would take to make. I made the order 20 min before arriving… I won’t be back because of the carelessness.
