If you’re looking for a spot in the South End that balances a high-end feel with approachable prices, Posto hits the mark. The atmosphere is immediately striking—a large, open-plan space that manages to feel intimate rather than cavernous, thanks to the moody, low-profile lighting.
The Food
The kitchen clearly knows its way around both land and sea. I ordered the Swordfish, and it was a standout. Swordfish can often lean toward being dry, but this was exceptionally tender and flavorful. It sat atop a silky creamy butternut squash purée that added a lovely autumnal sweetness, finished with a garnish of fresh micro greens for a bit of bright crunch.
My friend opted for the Pizza, which is a great litmus test for any Italian spot. It arrived with a perfectly thin, crisp crust. They don’t drown their pies in tomato sauce here; instead, they let the high-quality ingredients speak for themselves. It’s light, refined, and won’t leave you feeling weighed down.
The Experience
• Service: The staff was both attentive and genuinely kind, keeping the pace of the meal moving without making us feel rushed.
• Facilities: It sounds minor until you need one, but the restroom situation is great. There are three bathrooms total, and the one I used was spotless—a rarity for busy city spots.
• Value: For the South End, where dinner checks can quickly spiral, the prices at Posto felt very reasonable for the quality of the execution.

The bread is clearly leftover pizza dough… the pizza was mid at best and the short rib gnocchi was not good, at all.

Mocktails should not be $16, and the restaurant gets freezing whenever someone opens the door. Very expensive and not worth the money

Had a wonderful dinner here with incredible service by Camila! She was friendly and helpful with fantastic recommendations. We got multiple appetizers, the buffalo chicken pizza, the Carmy pizza, and dessert. The tiramisu was some of the best we’ve ever had and the pizza was easily in our top 3 of all time. The portions were perfect and there was a splendid wine selection as well. Thanks for a marvelous evening!

Enjoyed the Taco Tuesday special: choose 5 small tacos for $15! Incredible deal, very filling. Make sure to get the BLT one. Passionfruit mojito and the churros were also fantastic.

We were very upset to find out Burro Bar was closing. We tried Posto today and they did not disappoint! Their cocktails were as good and both our Pasta and Pizza dishes were delicious. We had the Fungi rigatoni and the sausage pizza. Our server, Christian was also very helpful. We will be back!

This was our 3rd or 4th time and it’s still great. We come here to enjoy the all-you-can eat brunch menu. There are so many options and with it being small plates, you’re able to try many things.

First time trying their bottomless brunch here. We were afraid portions would be too big but actually they’re slightly smaller than usual tapas plates. Some of our favorites were the Mexican street corn, fish tacos, French toast and strawberry waffles (they come in a quarter piece). The bloody Mary and raspberry mojotis were both delicious. Not a big menu and a few items were very similar. Most of the food felt prepared and sitting there ahead of time as they didn’t come out hot.

The ambiance was nice and chill. Would recommend making reservations. Our server was nice and attentive and let us keep ordering without any issues.
