Reviews
The place was busy and we were promptly seated for our reservation. Our waitress arrived shortly after, explained some menu items and took our drink orders.
My glass of Prosecco looked sad in the white wine glass with its mysterious foam. It tasted fine, although it could’ve been colder.
We started our food adventure with an order of roasted cauliflower and an order of the gourmet grilled cheese with tomato soup. The cauliflower came out in a timely manner, but was underwhelming. It was undercooked and lukewarm. It wasn’t bad enough to make a fuss about so we ate it. When our waitress came back to check on us, she noticed we hadn’t yet received our grilled cheese. Eventually it showed up, but it, too, was disappointing. The soup was lukewarm, and the cheese was cold in the middle. We politely asked for it to be corrected, and when it came back, it was prepared exactly the same way.
As a side note, we were seated by the window where servers wait for food to take to deliver to their tables. It was apparent that something was off. Some food sat there for quite awhile, while some servers stood around waiting.
Our waitress was sincerely apologetic for our experience, which we appreciated. We asked to close out our check, and she kindly comped our entire bill, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. We tipped her in cash and went on our way.
The two best things about our experience: our waitress’s vibe, and the music playlist
We will try a different location in the area at some point. I hope we have the experience that matches the reviews.
My husband and I were VERY pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere the amazing service, and the delicious food! We stopped here for a small bite to get us through until dinner, and I wish we had picked for dinner here!
We went with the Skewers and tried 5 pieces of bruschetta. We went with the traditional (my favorite), caprese (the least favorite for us both), mushroom & marscapone, and Prosciutto with figs (second fav for me), and the boquerones.
We are excited to stop here again on our next visit & explore more of the menu!
Highly recommend the tomato soup with a panini!
And, no, Postino is not a client. The content creator simply enjoys the restaurant.
