In one word: Wow . We walked in on a Sunday morning with no expectations but were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and especially the service. The happy hour is a great deal, the $6 wines were awesome. Our server, Erin, was so sweet and made our experience special. Our favorites on the bruschetta board were the warm artichoke and smoked salmon pesto. The cauliflower was also delicious. Highly recommend for a glass of wine and fun snack stop.

Ophelia was so sweet! She was really knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations! She got swamped for a moment, but the rest of the staff did an amazing job jumping in to help while she had her hands full. Totally understandable—12 South is always busy, every single day!
I ordered the prickly pear margarita (tart, sweet, and with just the right kick!), and my husband had the Schilling Cider, which was also nicely tart and not too sweet.
Everything was delicious! We started with the mushroom fondue and the bruschetta board. The fondue was creamy, a little spicy, and the perfect comfort food on a cold Nashville night. The bruschetta board is an absolute MUST.
We chose the :
Brie, apple, and fig
Fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil
Prosciutto di Parma, fig, and mascarpone
Burrata, bacon, arugula, and tomato
Every single one was SPECTACULAR. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest.
For our mains, my husband ordered the soup of the moment (Chicken Florentine) and the Nine Iron Panini, while I had the Caesar salad and the Italian Beef Dip. I didn’t get photos of our mains because the lighting was low and my flash kept going off—I didn’t want to disturb other guests —but I can confidently say everything from the soup to the salad to the sandwiches was a 100/10.
I ended the night with their mocktail, The Glow Up. It was very refreshing, though I couldn’t quite finish it and handed it off to my husband. Luckily, he enjoys a bit of heat, because the tequila alternative at the bottom had a definite jalapeño kick. I’m a total wimp with spice, so that swap was a great call He still loved it!
I’ll absolutely be coming back—I need to try the rest of the bruschetta options, plus the meatballs and goat cheese!

We were recommended to come here for our visit and wow were soooo happy! The food, service, and atmosphere are incredible!! We got a little bit of everything from the bruschetta boards -mozzarella tomato basil, mushroom& mascarpone, pepper jam goat cheese, and prosciutto mascarpone!!! Sweet tomato basil and tomato basil soup, the OMG grilled cheese (def add pesto), and wines to sample from!!

Postino wine bar is a great place to meet up with friends for drinks and delicious food! Hubs and I shared a bruschetta board, charcuterie board, and grilled cheese with French onion soup and it was all top notch! There were so many great options on their menu and our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so we had leftovers for later! The drinks were yummy too and the wait staff & host were very helpful getting us a table for 5, we made reservations at short notice.

I came here last night with my book club and we had a spectacular experience. The atmosphere was cool and cozy, and I’d love to return in warmer weather to sit on the patio. We had heard the food was really tasty, and it WAS! I got the OMG grilled cheese and we split the bruschetta, and it was all fantastic. But the best part was our waiter, Adam B! Such a delight. He was so personable and accommodating, and really fun to talk to! He even gave me a mocktail AND a free bruschetta on the house when he heard I’m pregnant. Truly so sweet. We had an awesome time and will definitely be back.

Ilianna provided outstanding service at Postino! From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She knew the menu well, made great recommendations, and checked on us at all the right times without being overbearing.

Postino was great and I’ll be back. When I first had read about them opening and saw it was a wine bar I was a little hesitant because a few wine bars have popped up recently but they are doing it right and worth the stop! $17.75 for the bruschetta board (you choose 4) is a fair price. I was full after 2 and had a little to snack on later. The brie apple and fig was my favorite. They have a happy hour with $6 wines ( from 4-5pm I think) and it’s a great place to just sit, snack and chat. Enjoy!
