I went to Post Office Pub a few times in the past few months and I tried something different every time. Food wasn’t amazing but was good enough to go back. The environment is nice and there are a lot of tables. The people who work there also seem very nice.

The food was decent–classic pub fare, wide selection, included a kid’s menu. What we really loved was the atmosphere, including the post office references. There is a front room, which looked like a fun bar scene. We appreciated the quieter back room for dinner. We also noticed a room for peivate parties. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The cost was reasonable. There aren’t many places to go to for dinner in Grafton, so we’ll be adding POP to our rotation.

I wish I had read the reviews before going here.

Two of the three of us arrived first and were offered water; our third party member had to shout her drink order at the waitress who was literally running away after taking our order. Ten minutes goes by – no water, no soda, no waitress. Our third party member waved her down in passing and asked if she could please have her drinks when the waitress had a moment, and got a shout back that the waitress was covering a big party with no help and would get to it.

Fifteen more minutes go by.

Waitress brings two soups, the drinks, and one straw. Ok, not a biggie. The chowder was barely warm and the french onion soup looked like it was made in a mess tent. Water refills were never offered or provided.

Manager Chris brought out the entrees for the first two party members five minutes later, and asked if anything was missing. Come to find out, our elderly, befuddled server did not put in the third entree even though everything was ordered at the same time. Manager Chris kindly indicated he would comp the entree when hearing about the shoddy service, and we requested the third entree to go. Waitress comes by and mumbles something about thinking the soup was the entree; honestly, at this point, nothing she said mattered. She did not ask how the other two entrees were any point, and we got up to get ketchup from the bar ourselves as it was never offered.

Manager Chris brings out a gift card with the now-to-go entree. Waitress brings the bill; the cost adjustments that Manager Chris promised had not been included. We bring the check back to Chris, who had the sense to look genuinely mortified, and he fixed it. We left cash and walked out just as the table behind us was seated with hacking elementary school aged children and their parents.

Third entree went right in the trash, uneaten. Not worth the risk of getting sick on top of being so annoyed.

Owners: staff your schedule with the appropriate number and caliber of individuals to be able to manage large parties as well as general service, especially around the holidays. Retire our elderly waitress to calmer pastures where she has a better chance of possibly being effective. Pray to whatever gods you believe in that Chris doesn’t tell you to pound sand and leave as he was the only useful member of staff we encountered during our visit.

My burger wasn’t cooked enough and waited about 30 minutes. I recommend the chicken tender appetizer, they were great. The chicken parm was okay but wouldn’t get it again—the chicken was overcooked and the noodles and sauce were way too watery. The salad was salad 5/10.

waiting for my burger just to hear they hadn’t even put it in yet. the waitress was socializing with her friends while other people around were waiting for the bill. kind of disappointing. after a while i got my burger and it was cooked to the way i wanted it and came out hot.

I often order takeout here. Although the fried food like fish and fries are a bit too oily for my taste, I absolutely adore the shrimp, the pastas and the desserts. The staff is also very friendly and the environment has an amazing vibe. I’d definitely recommend it as the best restaurant in the area for North Grafton. For the quality of the food, the prices are quite fair. They offer special options for dining in!

My girl friend and I meet up for lunch weekly and like to try new spots. This past Tuesday we had a great time at the Post Office Pub. Our server was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. She took great care of us without being overbearing, which my friend and I appreciated as we were catching up and chit chatting

The food was great, but the service made the whole experience special. It’s rare to come across such thoughtful, pleasant service these days. We left smiling and will definitely be back—hopefully to see her again.

Great spot for casual dining! A bunch of themed decor inside&our waitress was extremely polite!
Food was great, onion rings were perfect as well as lobster meat stuffed sole. Wide selection of drinks and the have daily special menu. There was no wait on Saturday afternoon, and they have a more silent and a loud zone. Suggest this spot&hope to be back soon!

Haven’t been here in over 20 years. I’m so glad I went back. It’s as I remember, but it seems larger. They’ve added an outside dining area, too. But, more importantly, the food and the service were great. I sat at the bar, and Rachelle (sp?) was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I went because I was looking for a pastrami sandwich and boy do the have pastrami. 2 options, and the normal one is fantastic. Have to go back and try the other version. Can’t wait!

Went recently for my first time. I actually attended a comedy show there which I recommend checking out. They bring very funny local comedians which makes a fun night out. The staff, food, atmosphere is very nice and I look forward in going back.
