As a pizza enthusiast this pizza is really good! Now I’ve only gotten the cheese and the buffalo chicken pizza. And the cheese was eh I mean it was ok but noting special. But the buffalo chicken pizza was so good. I dream about pizza like that. It was crispy thin but not too thin and a perfect amount of chicken and buffalo sauce. I’ve also had the onion rings and those were pretty tasty too. Over all good food good vibes and good service.

Second time here. Food is top notch. Nachos were some of the best I’ve ever had. Refreshing to not have soggy, inconsistently dispersed toppings on nachos with all the toppings/cheese on the top. These nachos were carefully layered and had an equal amount of all the goodness with crunch. Seared tuna tacos were tasty and packed with flavor. Our daughter had some great Mac and cheese. My wife had the cauliflower and massive crab cake. Highly recommend.

We love Post! It’s our favorite and go-to restaurant. The veggie tacos and nachos are incredible. We’ve tried other items on the menu and we love them but we always go right back to ordering the nachos and veggie tacos.

This was a great find. My daughter and I stopped in for lunch on our route after picking this destination from Google Maps, and we were so pleased with the atmosphere, service, cleanliness, timeliness, and blown away with the smash burgers! Quality ingredients, tasty and soft bun, fresh ground beef, superb presentation, and perfectly juicy as a smash burger should be. My only criticism would be that there wasn’t much char on the edges of the patties as is appropriate on a smash burger. All considered, what a gem this place is. We would definitely return and recommend to friends, or bring them along!

Arrived around 7pm on Saturday evening for dinner. It was busy, but we were seated without any wait. Most of the tables are high tops and it had a lively atmosphere.
Nachos & clam chowder for appetizers. Chowder was okay, but nothing special.
Nachos were amazing, we ate the whole plate! They had them stacked beautifully, with each layer having toppings. They added a little sweet pepper & corn, which I was apprehensive of, but was delicious.
Margarita pizza was perfect and the fish and chips were a hit. We will definitely go back.
Easy parking & good service.

I really don’t enjoy writing poor reviews but some of the food was inedible. The nachos were delicious absolutely but I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and unfortunately the slaw tasted like pure chemicals I have never experienced such a thing where the only word I can use is chemically flavored slaw. Fried chicken was overcooked as well. Everyone who ordered this dish agreed as well and you get more chicken in a kids chicken finger meal than the adult chicken sandwich order. Lamb chops were okay but maybe just not a flavor pairing for me. The steak tips were top tier and I will say and the fries are really good. I just can’t get over the chemical taste in the slaw I’ve never experienced such a thing! Overall average food and service but fantastic atmosphere.

As a former waitress, I can let a lot of things go while dining out but there were multiple things that I found to be totally unacceptable…

We arrived with our child, a 1.5 year old and asked if there were high chairs – the host said yes and they’d bring one over. No one brought one over for several minutes, so my husband had to go find one to bring over. We waited 10 more minutes before someone came with water for us. Mind you this is a Saturday at 1 pm – it’s not that busy.

When someone finally arrived to give us water, we placed our child’s order right away. As is customary for a kids order.

We waited and waited and waited no food arrived, no one checked on our table, nothing. Now it’s starting to get stressful because my child is very hungry.

Probably 30 mins go by and my husband and my food arrives. The waitress asked if we needed anything else. We asked about the kids order….she went to go check.

Another 10 minutes – nothing. At this point, my husband and I have finished our food. She finally brings the kid order. No apology. No acknowledgment that it took 40 minutes for a child order. In my mind, if you aren’t going to write down the order then don’t forget it….

It’s sad to me because we never ever get to go out to eat and we had a chance to have a nice meal together out and it was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.

Safe to say, we will never be going back there again.

Upon stepping into Post, located in the heart of Hamilton, Massachusetts, one is instantly enveloped by a sense of warmth and conviviality. The restaurant’s ambiance merges rustic charm with modern elegance, creating an atmosphere that is both relaxed and refined. The exquisitely contemporary fireplace adds a touch of perfection to the restaurant ambiance.

The menu at Post is a testament to their commitment to providing diners with a gastronomic experience that is both familiar and innovative. The dishes we sampled were well prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.

Our culinary journey began with two appetizers: Sweet Thai Chili Calamari and Crab Cake. The calamari was expertly cooked – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a sauce that perfectly balanced sweet and spicy notes. As someone who isn’t typically fond of crab cakes, I was pleasantly surprised. The cake was packed with succulent crab meat and a delicate blend of spices that complemented rather than overpowered the crab. It was so good that I found myself reaching for more, much to my wife’s amusement.

For the main course, I opted for the Seared Scallops, which were nothing short of perfection. Each scallop was seared to a beautiful golden brown, yet retained a tender, almost buttery texture on the inside. The accompanying mushroom parsnip risotto was a delightful surprise, rich and creamy, providing a wonderful contrast to the scallops.

My wife ordered the Pork Schnitzel, a dish that was both hearty and comforting. The pork was fried to perfection, maintaining its juiciness while boasting a crisp, golden exterior.

Unfortunately, our dessert, the Fried Apple Cinnamon Ravioli, fell short of our expectations. While the donuts and ice cream were enjoyable, the ravioli was disappointingly tough and difficult to chew.

Despite this minor setback, our overall experience at Post was extremely satisfying. The ambiance, coupled with the delightful dishes, made for a memorable birthday dinner for my wife.

We eagerly look forward to revisiting Post and sampling other dishes from their intriguing menu. The culinary prowess demonstrated by the majority of our meal gives us confidence that we will continue to enjoy dining at Post. This restaurant definitely earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars from us.

We have been here before but only for a cocktail and snack. This was our first dinner.

I’m super happy to have a new place to add to the rotation. Our meals were delicious. I opted for the Steak Frites and he got the Pork Saltimbocca, our son (5) had the chicken quesadilla. We were all really happy with our choices. The steak was cooked perfect (I get medium) it was a nice pink and the flavor packed in each bite was so good. My husband couldn’t stop praising the pork and even said “it’s the best I think I have ever had”…of course I didn’t take offense. My son and I also loved the fries served with our meals, they are like steak fries but way better.

For drinks my husband got his usual martini (and he loves places that make it right…no vermouth!) and I had a black and tan (but with the Cider Donut cider beer from Boston’s own Downeast Cider)…nicknamed the Snakebite or Black Velvet.

The location off Bay Road was adjacent to the train station, so this will be a great meet-up location on my late voyages home when we are too tired to cook. It’s got a great bar (which we visited in the past) and was comfortable with the glow of a cool fireplace in the dining room.

We parked on the side street but there seems to be ample parking all around.

This dinner definitely did not disappoint, and we will be back!

Always a favorite, good is fresh and fun options, service is great, atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The non-bar side is much quieter and great for conversation while the bar side is more jovial and a bit louder and open to the kitchen.
