Food here is decent but nothing i would buy again. The Pork chop was decent and the meatballs was average.
We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked — light, tender, and flavorful. For our entrées, I had the salmon and my wife went with the halibut. Both dishes were excellent — fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented.
The service was also great — very attentive without being intrusive, and everything moved at a comfortable pace. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d definitely come back again.
After a long search for quality risotto in the area, I was finally impressed by their version; it was prepared with technical precision—creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. However, it is worth noting that while the flavors are undeniably excellent, the plating leans toward a more boutique, fine-dining style. The portions aren’t particularly large or intended for family-style sharing, so if you are coming in with a hearty appetite, I would definitely suggest ordering your own individual appetizer and entree to fully enjoy the experience.
The food was honestly the highlight. The calamari, seafood Alfredo, and veal tortellini were amazing — but they were all specials and not part of the regular menu, which was a little disappointing because they were truly the best items we had. The meatballs were just okay and not really something I would recommend.
When we first arrived around 6 PM, the doors were locked and the restaurant appeared closed. A few minutes later someone opened the door, but the restaurant was completely empty. We asked to sit at either a booth or the bar and were denied, which was confusing since there were no other guests at the time. Only two other parties came in during our entire visit, so the seating restriction felt unnecessary.
The cocktails were also underwhelming. I did not complain because our server appeared to also be the bartender, but they were not very good.
Service was not bad, but it was also not what I would expect considering how empty the restaurant was. The atmosphere was also very strange — it was extremely dark inside. I had to search for light switches just to find the bathroom, and once inside, I had to feel around again to turn the lights on.
Lastly, there was automatic gratuity added for a party of two. While I did not mind paying it, the overall service did not really justify it.
If you are looking for somewhere very quiet and intimate, this may be a good place. However, if you are looking for a nice vibe and lively atmosphere, I would not recommend it.
Overall, there were some bright spots with the food, but the service, atmosphere, and overall experience made the visit feel uncomfortable and inconsistent.
The fried calamari appetizer was generous in portion size and the clam special was rich and flavorful. For entrees, we had tried the panko crusted halibut, slow roasted lamb shank, braised short ribs, and shrimp scampi. All were good, but the lamb shank was our favorite, especially when you were hungry.
Their wine menu was not too overwhelming and had enough choices either by glass or bottle. The pricing was very reasonable.
Overall, you got lots of good food for a fair price (for the same dish, lunch price was better than dinner’s).
