Review for Portland Sports Girl – Downtown Portland
We stopped by Portland Sports Girl on a gorgeous Saturday morning, and it was such a great little surprise. The sun was shining, people were out and about, and we ended up in this fun corner of downtown that just felt good to walk through.
We decided to grab a little bite, and I’m so glad we did. Our waitress was fabulous—super sweet and really knowledgeable. She walked us through the different ciders and beers on tap, and everything else on the menu. You could tell she actually cared and enjoyed what she was doing.
Our food came out quickly, and we were able to sit outside and soak up the sunshine. They’ve got umbrellas too, for those who want a little shade. The vibe was relaxed and friendly, and it honestly felt like the kind of place you could make a regular stop on your weekend walks.
This was my first visit, but I’d bet it’s a pretty popular spot—good food, great service, and a prime spot for people-watching on a sunny day. I’ll definitely be back.

We stopped in for a quick break from walking. I had a non-alcoholic kolsch and we shared crab cakes.
The place was small, eclectic, and fun. The beer was good, and the crab cakes were perfectly cooked & perfectly spiced.

Didn’t expect much from a small spot like this but man — the wings were crispy, the Bloody Mary was only $6.50 and actually good, and the bartender had my drink ready before I even looked up. Chill place, fast service, I’ll be back next time I’m in Portland.

This place is awesome and a regular stop for us. The waitresses are pretty and friendly and quick to serve the drinks and food. In summer we usually sit outside where they have plenty of room. In the winter the game is always on. Good Times!

Holy smokes this food was so good. I got the garlic Parmesan wings. It could have been fried a tiny bit more to make it crispier, but the sauce was fantastic, all the flavors were there. My GF and I also loved the fries – they were cooked to perfection.
They included all the sauce I asked for in the takeout order. Would say this place is SOLID.

Food is great. Customer service is bland if not terrible. Completely ignored mainly. The bathroom smelled and doesn’t have automatic air freshener. Took my order, got it to me nothing else said. Complete lack of service. 5 star food and presentation.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I ordered the fish and chips as well as a salad with blackened salmon. The service was excellent, food was ready fast and everything was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. Prices were also very reasonable.

Quaint little place. Located on a little cul-de-sac on the river side. Very tight space inside a couple of tables in the back maybe four chairs at the bar. But if it’s a beautiful day there’s plenty of outside seating.
Had the crabcakes delicious never had them like that. Also had the oyster shooter. Really good.
The food that I saw coming out of the kitchen the hamburgers looked amazing the Gyro the guy next to me had said it was delicious.
Really cool little sports bar. Perfect for a great little neighborhood bar and pub kind of place to watch the game.
Would I go here again, absolutely!

We LOVE this place! We come here every weekend after our runs with our dogs. We are enthralled with the outdoor dining opportunities with open air tents and the lamps above our tables.
We always start with a drink whether it be a beer, cider or bloody Mary and a starter of Cajun tots! The Cajun tots are a must have!!
I usually out for one of their burgers or the grilled cheese both are unique, flavorful and incredibly satisfying.
My gluten-free friends tend to opt for the chicken curry which is uniquely flavorful and plentiful.
For all of these, the side dishes are delicious and filling.
Their soup of the day is always amazing so make sure it satisfies your craving of the day.
Cole is always available to offer incredibly friendly and efficient service even in the busiest of times.
