A wonderful place to eat breakfast with family and friends. Good “diner food” but the ambiance is spectacular for quite on the water breakfast. Id give it 3.5 stars but I could not. Good farmers breakfast food. I had the breakfast sandwich or a traditional farmer’s breakfast. The staff is so friendly. Make sure to get hash browns “crispy”

Hospitality from staff was great.
Felt the local community present in this area.
Food presentation beautiful.
Food could be a little dry and bland depending on where you’re from (the south), but I believe it’s made that way to cater towards the more elderly population here.

Open since 1957 I would say that Galley Café is one of my favorite breakfast options in Orange County. Perhaps my favorite of the diners. It’s located right next to the water, near the boat docks, so it has some really great views. Inside is quite small and there is usually a line to wait to be seated but the tables turn quickly because service is very fast and efficient here. We had to wait about 15 minutes on a Saturday morning @ 10:30 for a party of two. There is a lot of free parking along the water so parking is very plentiful and close to the restaurant. Both of our servers were extremely polite during our visit and everything that we ordered came out very fast.

I really love how cozy it is inside, all the seating options are either booth or counter seating. The menu itself isn’t very large, but has a lot of great classic diner dishes on it. For my first visit, I went with the Chili Cheese Omelette and added avocado and chorizo and I thought it was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend the combination to anyone and already want to come back again soon to get it again. Pricing is also fair and overall it was a wonderful experience so I would highly recommend to anyone in the area or passing through.

Interesting small old-fashioned ‘mum & pop’ diner.
Food good but expensive.
Would not go back.

Hadn’t been in the area for nearly twenty years, and the Galley Cafe was the same high quality, fabulous service, and a really wonderful experience to share with my son. Shout out to Adrian who provided excellent care if us. Long live the Galley Cafe!

Pancakes were good, but the syrup was disgusting. Not very clean, there was food all along the window. Very hot and uncomfortable inside. Cannot recommend and will not return.

This was my first visit to Galley Cafe, and I tried their chili cheese omelet with a side of avocado and cottage cheese. I’m usually not a fan of chili, but their grandpa’s recipe completely won me over—it was excellent! The portion size was generous and the pricing was fair. The only downside was the coffee—it tasted like decaf, though I didn’t confirm if it was. As someone who enjoys a strong black coffee, it just didn’t hit the mark. Still, everything else was fantastic, and I’m definitely coming back to try their pancakes next time!

Highly DO NOT Recommend. Nothing special at all. Food is the same as Norms. Prices are 3 times higher than Norms. Lipstick lined coffee mug. Had to BEG for refill on coffee. Waited 10 minutes to pay bill. Will NOT be back for this OVERHYPED breakfast that costed me $25 for 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, French toast and a coffee. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL

I’ve been enjoying Galley Cafe’s food for years. Recently, I took my friends from overseas to this nostalgic place, and they all said they had the best “American Food” experience during their trip. I will definitely bring more friends to Galley Cafe!

Small, quaint restaurant that keeps its original service and style and we loved it! Right on the marina with a great view of the water and boats/yachts. They make their coke with syrup and carbonated water, right there and the milkshakes are fresh and handmade! So delicious! We ordered breakfast also, and my son had a burger and all
of it was high quality and delicious! Highly recommend this great little restaurant!
