I have been looking forward to trying them out ever since they opened. They have a great artistically designed building. Super clean from the outside. The drive thru was super convenient. Customer service was excellent. Very sweet kind young ladies assisted me with my order.
The French fries were pretty nice. Crunchy and a good serving size for a small. The Chicago style dog was pretty mediocre. I’ve never had a Chicago style dog but the taste wasn’t striking or rememberable. I tried it with all the toppings included except the pickle spear. It was 3.5/5 stars. I’ll be back to try the chopped salad or sandwich. Probably won’t order the hot dog again. Please stop by and support our local businesses so we can get more variety like this restaurant.

I went there twice now for lunch twice now. I love the Chicago dog but not so much the beef sandwich. I think it will taste better with some grill onion. There is not much flavor in the meat. However, the hot dog was great. Definitely will have that again. I love the atmosphere and the setup. If you have not try the Chicago hot dogs, definitely go and try them.

Super tasty/tender Italian Beef sammy and fries. I got mine dipped in gravy, you can get it dry, with extra gravy or dipped….I went with dipped and it was very good….Don’t like a mess so I ate it wit’ a knife and fork and I left very happy! The fries are very good, crisp and salty. I may not be able to come and not get the Italian Beef…it was that good. Lots of oil and gas memorabilia which I like….no Phillips 66 though. I got it wit’ hot peppers on the side. Yum.

I went to the one in Chicago, tastes pretty much the same. Got the beef sandwich and onion rings and fries, their Coke was so fresh tasting, delicious, I never comment on soda. Maybe because this place is new and new equipment. Spouse had bacon burger. Good, would like to return. They have drive thru too. Nice inside, took pics.

So glad to have portillos around houston! Chicago dog is a classic, beef sausage combo with hot peppers is amazing, but Maxwell polish is my favorite. Cheese fry, chocolate cake or cake shake are all good extras.

Meh! Over priced mediocre food. It’s was just “ok.” Portion sizes were good. Food was bland and underseasoned. Most of the flavor came from the peppers. *we ordered 2 Italian beef sandwiches with extra gravy as well as fries & onion rings. (Onion rings were no better than, say, Burger King)*
Service was fine/good – employees were polite. Restaurant was clean and organized. Seating is comfy enough. But atmosphere music was too loud for casual conversation.

I love a good Chicago hot dog and I am so happy this location opened up as it’s very close to me!! I love their self ordering machines kiosks and it made the ordering much smoother as it was our first time at any Portillos establishment. There was a good crowd of people at 7pm but our food still came out in a very timely manner. Everything was hot and crispy and yummy. The vegetables in my dog were fresh, crispy and flavorful, the bun was soft. The onion rings were amazing. The only thing I’m not crazy about are the fries, I feel like they’re only good with the cheese on the side. Will definitely be back!!

I ordered the # 1 : Italian beef & sausage sandwich combo that came w/ ( crinkled ) fries & a drink. I also got a dipping sauce on the side that I think had Olive oil & Italian herbs in it, which made it very tasty. The cheese sauce was a little thicker than I like it & needed a little salt which I added. I added both the dipping sauce & cheese 2 the sandwich. The sandwich was served hot & tasted very good. The crinkle fries were also served hot & the right amt of crunch & salt. Would I come here again ? YES ! ! !

Had a wonderful time at Portillo’s Stafford! The food was great and the atmosphere and music were amazing! Such a fun blast from the past.
