Ordered a shake in the drive-thru, three cars ahead of me and I would’ve been late to work had it not been for the very polite, extremely prompt, and attentive young Latino employee! He quickly took my order, literally ran inside and came back out much faster than I anticipated with my order! His exceptional service is the reason I was able to be perfectly on time for work. The young man deserves a raise or acknowledgment of some sort. Don’t find many employees like him these days.

My husband is a truck driver and his company is around the corner. Our truck was getting an oil change and we needed some lunch. Had never been to Portillos before. It was delicious! We ended up with 3 Chicago dogs and they were amazing! Finally a place that puts enough mustard on lol. They have a fast ordering service. Their onion rings small is large! Fries were great! I went back and got a chocolate cake shake, it was awesome!!! It’s different but it’s good! It’s just what it sounds like. If you like to eat the melty ice cream on your plate that has peices of cake in it when eating cake and Ice cream, then you’ll like it. It doesn’t get soggy cause cake doesn’t get soggy it just mixes together. Place was clean and people were friendly. Free refills on drinks too just go up and ask at the pickup area. Can’t wait to go back. For .99 you can get a little cup of yellow cheese to dip fries in or onion rings, hot dog whatever you want!

I’ve heard all the buzz about Portillos, maybe even tried it during some airport layover but officially tried it today. The recommendation was a beef and sausage sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good, not going to lie but I’ve had it before… At home.

My first visit ever. I got a Chicago Dog, Italian Beef Sandwich, fries, a Coke, and a Chocolate Cake Milkshake. I loved everything and hope to be back one day. A great experience. Facility was clean and nostalgic. A must if you are near.
