I went here not expecting much due to the fact of its location in such a small town but boy, was I blown away! It was a very cute little place it had an elegant feel to it yet very laid back. They have a little shop in there with little trinkets and antiques. We got a wonderful dinner for two that fed us for 2 days that’s how big the portions are! We were served a plate of saltines as we came in which was a bit odd to me. The soup was not good at all. Very very salty and tasted like canned soup. For what I paid I was hoping for something a bit more. The steak was cooked to perfection and the veggies were incredible! The service was great! I will be going back just not for soup.

Porter’s is a nice quiet place to enjoy a steak. It is set up like your grandmother’s dining room (very cozy.) Each time, that I have been there, it has been a pleasant experience. If you want a great meal (like home, except no cooking and no dishes,) then this is your place.
