I would like to start off by saying I stumbled across this establishment by accident as I was searching for a highly rated burger place who has the option of putting a fried egg on the burger as one of many toppings. After doing a thorough search on Google, Porterhouse Burger Company was the winner and I decided to go.

The amount of almost unlimited options and toppings you have for the burgers here are absolutely insane! I hope this NEVER changes. You cannot go unsatisfied if you make your burger the way YOU want to. Everything is also cooked to perfection, your way when asked, i.e. medium well, well done, etc.
The onion rings I have to say are also the star of the show. I haven’t had onion rings this good in probably over 10 years. These are on another level. The batter is perfect and not thick and heavy like most places have which also cuts down on the grease. In all honesty these onion rings will also keep me coming back.
The setup here is very nice… You come in and you can order from a menu and once you pay you can go have a seat, assuming you are eating in as they will bring your food to you… Awesome service!

My first time here, and ive got to say this is one of the best burgers ive had in a while. I got the patty melt with onion rings. The onion rings were so crispy and good, and the melt was juicy and cheesy. I’ll be back soon!!

Stopped here passing through on the way home. Great spot for a quick bite. Burgers had plenty of flavor. If you’re dining in, they bring the food to your table. A lot of the meals come with a side but beverages are separate. Would definitely come back to this spot if I’m in the area.

Worth the drive from Blairs, Virginia to Greensboro, NC just for lunch!
I had the Egg – splosion Burger*
Cheddar cheese, candied bacon, fried egg, bacon mayo, grilled sourdough.
(Messy but it was delicious!)
My husband had the “Some Like It Hot” Burger*
Pepper Jack cheese, jalapeno cream cheese, jalapenos, red onion, blackberry jam.
(“The jam cooled the jalapenos just enough to bring out the flavor more”)
And then we split the desserts, each taking one kind of egg roll.
Chocolate Chip Egg Rolls
Chocolate chip cookie dough egg rolls with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle. (This was like a warm hug!)
Apple Pie Egg Rolls
Apple pie filled egg rolls with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel drizzle.
(Who doesn’t love Apple pie and ice cream? Delicious!)
Everyone working there was very nice. Would totally recommend this place to everyone!

Fantastic burger place! The “some like it hot” burger is a top 3 all-time burger for me. Perfect temperature on the burger (cooked to order). The desserts are also fantastic. I really wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

We wondered in here for lunch. We’ve been to the other location on Market but not this one. The food was great and well priced I feel for what you get. There is not traditional service as they only deliver to your table. Counter order and everything else is self service and they prompt you for at least a 15%, 20%, 25% tip. We had to clean our own table before, We spent about $21 per person before tax and tip and it was well worth it.

We have been coming to this location for quite some time. We enjoy the burgers and the food is always made to order. The accuracy isn’t always 100%, but it is most of the time. We’ve learned to check our meals before digging in to make sure they haven’t left toppings off. We will continue to dine here.

This place is the best! This is my fourth day in a row coming here and I’ve ordered the same thing every time. I get the “good burger” and I would rate it a 10/10. Molly takes our order and she is the best. She is very kind and her service is amazing. Would definitely recommend checking this place out. Their burgers are truly the best in town.
