It’s a great seafood option! I really enjoyed the hush puppies, they are the sweeter kind and I love that! Food takes a little longer to come out for a larger group but the food was great and hot when it came out!

Have ate here several times now from breakfast to dinner and all meals were great. Saturday night have prime rib and it’s delicious well worth the $21. Service is excellent not once do they let my tea glass empty. We will be eating here for along time. They have a huge parking lot that will accommodate boats and campers.

Just want to give a a well deserved positive review for yesterday, Mother’s Day. Not wanting to deal with the crazy busy restaurant scene we decided to call in an order to pick up. Some of the other local seafood restaurants were not doing to-gos, understandable, however the lady I spoke to at Porter Island was very honest with how busy they were and the wait time. Which to me was not unreasonable for Mother’s Day, 25 minutes. Our food was amazing, my mother said “they were the best cheese grits she’d ever had”. We appreciate and enjoyed our Mother’s Day lunch, thank you!

Wow… this is some of the best food I’ve ever had! The service was out of this world and everyone was very kind. A must visit while in the area! We got the Prime Rib Special (X2), buffalo chicken sandwich, garlic herb pasta and home made Cheese Sticks.

Horrible experience. I will never do this again. Older, “experienced” servers with no manners and no people skills. Cold toast, bologna ham, and powered eggs. No conversation all. Dropped off the food, dropped off the check. No question about why I didn’t even eat half. People were trying to give them business and they just didn’t have any care or concern to take it.

I’ve eaten here a few times and I’ve had consistently positive experiences. The food is tasty and the portions are nice. For those with an aversion to seafood fear not, the non aquatic options are great too. When I’ve dined in the staff was friendly and the service good. Definitely recommend giving them a try.
