Stopped into Portage St. Pizza and grabbed a small personal pan pizza with sausage and a Diet Pepsi — and it definitely hit the spot.
The pizza was loaded with flavor and extra cheesy, just the way a good personal pan should be. The sausage had great taste and the crust was cooked perfectly.
Also grabbed a Diet Pepsi that was ice cold right out of the cooler, which paired perfectly with the pizza.
If you’re in the area and want a quick, flavorful slice, definitely check them out.

What really sets PSP apart from other pizzerias is the house made items. That is something incrediblely unique. The pizza dough is amazing. Unbelievable texture.The dressing,white french,Italian and ranch, all house made and delicious. I tried the slice of chocolate cake w/buttercream icing( house made).WOW!! Moist and fresh. Can’t wait to try the house made soups. Oh,the Chicken bacon ranch pizza- Delicious! What a gem!!!

You can definitely tell this place is done with love and from the heart , everything was so fresh and prepared I drove 45 minutes to try them out tonight and it was amazing the food and service was beyond what I have experienced elsewhere. 10/10

While the service was great and the business appeared clean, the pizza was disappointment. As someone said, shredded pepperoni with barely recognizable sausage is not my idea of pizza toppings. The crust was unevenly cooked…appeared cooked on the bottom but in reality was not. If the crust was frozen to begin, you should consider making your own. If you truly made the crust from scratch or a mix then a different recipe or process is needed. Sauce tasted canned and was a tad sweet. So much cheese that you could not taste or see toppings. Definitely disappointing after reading so many glowing reviews. Would I return? Not at this point.

Never again will I pay 20$ for a medium sized pizza, called a large, with 4 total pieces of pepperoni shredded on top and a mound of cheap….im not even gonna call it mozzarella. You could taste the texture of the shreds because there was so much! And the crust is terrible. I don’t think it was proved for more than 4 hours. Very very disappointed.

Ordered a regular medium pepperoni and their specialty buffalo chicken. Was impressed with service and speed on a busy Friday night! Price was fair and just and Pizza looked and tasted great and we will happily order again when they’re open full time! So nice to have a pizza shop in town that’s close and convenient.
