Really great experience. I Came here almost at closing time but the lady there welcomed me with the smile and didn’t rush for serving, I was here for first time she did guided me and really made me amazing food I had ever taste. I tried the naan, butter chicken, and handi chicken. The naan was not properly cooked , the butter chicken had excessive colouring, and the handi chicken was oily with an overpowering garlic taste. Worst experience.

This restaurant is what Port Elgin needs. The pakora tasted really good but was abit overdone. Although the rest of the meal tasted amazing it was abit spicy. Order included butter naan, raita, Veg Bryani, handi and aloo gobi mutter.

We entered the restaurant at 8:25 PM, hoping to order a takeaway meal. To our surprise, Janki, the supervisor, kindly asked us to take a seat. That gesture truly set her apart from others.
She recommended the Methi Butter Masala, and it was absolutely scrumptious.
One of the best things about this restaurant was the use of high-quality tissue paper on the tables — a small but thoughtful detail that shows how much the owner’s care. These little touches really made the restaurant stand out. 11/10 – highly recommend visiting this place if you’re nearby!

Went to Port Social for a girls night out and was quite pleased with the dining experience. This is the place to go for authentic Indian cuisine (reduced spice levels). Very welcoming ambiance, friendly service, and delicious food. We started off by ordering samosas and lasooni gobi. These are must haves: the samosas were the highlight with a perfectly crispy exterior and flavourful filling elevated by the green chutney. For our main we ordered paneer makhani with a side of garlic naan, and chicken biryani (complimentary rice for the paneer makhani and raita for the chicken biryani). The biryani and naan were perfect, however the paneer makhani had a bit of a unusual pulpy texture. Overall, highly enjoyable and would 100% recommend! 🙂

We booked our staff party at Port Social at the end of January. We had over 30 people joining the event. Margi and Janki were incredibly helpful, resourceful and accommodating in planning our party. They put together an amazing menu for our buffet style dinner and fulfilled our dietary requests. They were open to for us getting liquor licence for our evening. Stayed open late for us without any hesitations. They accommodate for our arrangement of entertainment and helped with smiles to reshuffle tables for last minute changes.
The food was delicious, fresh and hot. Margi, Janki and Elliot were constantly checking on us if we had everything we needed. They even provided containers for us to take any leftovers home. We have booked few venues for our staff parties in the town, but this so far was the best customer experience we had. Thank you Margi, Janki and Elliott for your professional customer service and wonderful attitude!!! Job incredibly well done on every aspect of our evening that exceeded our expectations. We are definitely coming back next year. I highly recommend Port Social if you ever need a space for private venue.

Dined at Port Social this evening and it was quite delicious. Started with veg pakora, (might be the tastiest I’ve had), Lamb curry, Aloo Gobhi, & Veg Biryani. Everything was simply excellent. It was fresh, hot, & well presented. The portions were very generous. Our server was lovely and provided just the correct amount of attentiveness. The one and only thing that would have made it better for me would be table linens (just a personal preference when dining out). We will most definitely be back!

For mains we had chicken tikka masala and shahi paneer both came with rice. We had the bread basket. The food was sufficient for 4 of us.
