I was recommended to come here for their Fish and chips, so was looking forward to trying this dish.
When arriving on Friday evening, I was disappointed to see on the menu, that they stop serving this dish at 5 pm ♂️ ♂️
Well, I chose a Tuna steak in the end.
Though the waiter did not ask how I would like it cooked??
It did come out very soft in the middle! Though it was not cold in the middle, it was kind of ok just used to it being more firmer.
My partner chose a Cheese Salad, as she was at the same restaurant earlier that same day.
There is an extensive menu of fish and Oysters to choose from, if you are a Fish foodie
We had some Earl Grey teas for our drinks, but there was plenty of other wines and Beers to choose from on the menu.
We enjoyed both of our meals.
The prices are quite expensive here in our opinions, as we are frequently eating out in various restaurants.
The setting of the restaurant was very tasteful, quite elegant., and we had a table by the window.
It was an ok experience eating here, probably geared for business people from the City.
I would come back again, but earlier in the day, to try what I came in for.
We liked Argentinian shrimps a lot and ordered the second.
Wine menu is so rich.
Very glad to have been in here.
Enjoy…
Unfortunately, after yesterday’s experience, I won’t be returning.
We were informed there were 40 minutes left until closing, so I ordered oysters and asked if they had Sauvignon Blanc. Instead of explaining the wine (such as the country of origin), the waiter focused on whether it was sold by the glass or bottle and chose to argue rather than clarify. The attitude and tone made the experience uncomfortable.
