My experience coming into the port was such an experience the ambiance of the live music was beautiful. I really enjoyed the food as well we had the kabobs and hummus it was delicious and brought out promptly. I definitely would recommend this as a date night spot!

Love the atmosphere. Very clean, lighting sets an ambiance. Ordered a cucumber margarita that did not disappoint. The hummus was the best I’ve ever tasted. Open late on a Sunday evening, we arrived at 9 and received amazing service. Great music playing. Vanessa was our server, go dodgers! She was so polite and prompt. She offered us extra pita for our hummus. What a gal. Eddie helped the server. He was also great! Let’s not mention the delicious filet kabobs… to die for! Thanks for the Great time !

Enormous helpings of couscous salad for $9, wings with all the trimmings $8. Kebabs $10-$15. Brilliant service, food, atmosphere, surroundings. Excellent live band and half price wine on Wednesdays! Patio seating. Fireplace. Bar. Plentiful quiet-street parking.

I went on Mother’s Day 2022, and in terms of positives, the food is very good! Port is a perfect restaurant for mobile orders or eating at home. But everything was very expensive and the service was abismal. It felt like we had to fight for our waiter’s attention, despite the restaurant being only 1/4 occupied. I believe part of this is the fact that a 20% gratuity is built into the bill, so the servers have little incentive to provide good service since their tip does not depend on it. Also, the music was very loud to the point where it was difficult to communicate with the waitstaff and those sitting at the same table.

I had no idea The Port existed until a friend from Corona del Mar invited me out for their Monday night karaoke—and I’m so glad they did. This place is such a hidden gem. It’s a restaurant and bar by day, and on Monday nights it transforms into a lively, local karaoke scene filled with regulars and good vibes.
I sang a couple of songs, the DJ was fantastic, and the energy was just pure fun. We also ordered a bunch of food: cauliflower nachos, spicy hummus, a kebab plate, and a salad. Honestly, I was surprised by how delicious everything was, especially considering it has more of a bar-style atmosphere. The drinks were solid too—my dirty martini was perfect, and my friend’s tequila on the rocks hit the spot.
The staff was quick, friendly, and on top of it. Prices were very reasonable. As for parking, you can usually find a spot on the street or in the nearby neighborhoods—just keep an eye on signs so you don’t get ticketed. All in all, an awesome spot for a fun and flavorful night out. I’ll definitely be back.

One of the best hidden restaurant, bar and entertainment in Newport Beach. Great food, good selection of win, bar had my favorites. Highly recommended. Next to Port theater. Make a night out off it.Ava is the night manager and she is outstanding and extremely friendly. Good food, good staff. Came back, amazing food and intertainment.
